Returning it to Amazon for a full refund.This claims to be one-size-fits-all. The label on says it fits sizes 7 to 7 3/8, which according to a standard hat sizing chart, would cover Medium and Large hat sizes. That would be fine, since I normally wear a Large hat size (comfortably).I could only get this over my head at all with great difficulty, and even then, it didn't fit all the way over my head. So I measured it. The minimum size (with no stretch in the elastic) is approx 20", and the maximum size (fully stretched) is approx 21.5". A Size 7 hat should be 22”, and a size 7 3/8 hat should be 23 1/8”, so this hat isn’t even close. In fact, it’s smaller than an Adult Small hat size, which would be 21 1/4" to 21 5/8".In reality, this hat is closely aligned with a Child’s medium and large hat size (which would range from 20 1/8” to 21 1/4”)

This cap is low profile and fits easily under my welding helmet. It has some elastic sewn into the rim so it will expand maybe as much as 1/2" if needed. It does stretch a bit when I put it on and it stays on. It's summer now so it gets soaked pretty quickly with sweat but it's fairly light weight so it's not too heavy when wet. I'm going to order a second one to switch between them when one gets soaked.

I like these hats for welding and woodturning. The fit, however, is off. After reading some reviews I purchased the extra large although I normally take a medium or large. The extra large just barely fit.

Was tired of burning my hair and scalp while welding on the under side of my car so I got this... and boy does it work great fits well and snug to my head so my welding mask doesn't slide around while on my head. and it keeps my head from getting burnt most importantly!

Love this cap. It works perfectly for grinding and plasma cutting while your trying to keep sweat out of your eyes.

Protects the rear of my head when MIG welding. Also getting a lot of use while angle and die grinding when I have a lot of PPE on my head and can't wear a visor cap.

it is a little large and I have a BIG head for once XL means XL :p
