Good recap through time of the player and coach!
I'm not a Patriots fan, but it has been good to watch an unprecedented level of success and this book helps to focus on why both are great. You learn what makes each man tic and its good to hear some behind the scenes stories about the successes as well as the controversy. All in all, a very insightful book for sports fans!

Well-written, informative
Excellent look behind the scenes of the dynamic duo of Belichick & Brady. This book covers through their 5th Super Bowl title. Well-written with some great photos. Some rarely heard-off background material. Must reading for a Patriots fans or just any hardcore football fan who can appreciate the dynasty Belichick and Brady built.

Not really about "Belichick and Brady" like the title suggests
I like Michael Holley and enjoyed his other Pats-focused books, "Patriot Reign" and "War Room," but I was a little disappointed by this one. Based on the title I expected it to delve into the details of Brady's and Belichick's relationship, but it just felt like a standard, straight ahead, game by game chronology of the last several Patriots' seasons, without offering any real insights. If anything, I learned more about Darelle Revis, Gronk, and Aaron Hernandez by reading this book than I did about Brady or Belichick.

Perfect
By far the best sports book I have ever read. This is not a play-by-play of the Patriots game, like so many other sports books can be. This books shows how Belichick uses a footballers version of sabermetrics (shout out to baseball fans) to create some of the best teams in modern football. The two Patriots scandals are assessed obviously, but Holley doesn't give his opinion. He gives us the facts and allows TH reader to make their own conclusions.

Two unbelievable Men
Being a Patriots fan, naturally I Liked it. Following much of what’s written in this book brought back so many memories. Didn’t enjoy going back in history on the the deflated footballs. Especially didn’t enjoy going over the court action and the gutless commissioner Godell. Did however enjoy the play by play of the Super Bowl win over Atlanta. My wife and I always stay home and enjoy the Super Bowls together but for that game we agreed to go to neighbor’s and only lasted a half the we watched the rest in shocked elation together in front of our own TV. So yes I enjoyed this book.

Great book!
I loved this book. The Brady/Belichick partnership is one astonishing pairing. I enjoyed reading about the rise to fame and am an ardent and enthusiastic fan even though I live in Houston. I believe wholeheartedly Brady was innocent of deflating balls and that Goodell is an arrogant SOB for his determination to destroy this player. Read the book and make your own decision. Lots of great information about the game and very well written.

A great read
Of course, I have been a fan of the New England Patriots ever since Tom Brady became their quarterback. I couldn't put this book down because I was so interested in the commentary regarding Spygate and Deflategate. I'm surprised Roger Goodall is still the NFL commissioner. This book doesn't extend to the most recent season wherein Tom Brady won his fifth Super Bowl. Many records were broken including the biggest comeback in Super Bowl history!

Well written, thoroughly researched, and sincere.
Mr.Holley surprised me, a New England girl, at how much I didn't know about all the scandals and provided a map of the behind the scenes and an understanding and motivations of all sides. Sometimes sad but found that overall both men brought out the best of what made the Patriots what they are today.

A great flowing read
Great insight into this much maligned team, that get the job done. An insight into a misunderstood coach & envied quarterback that have achieved beyond their dreams.

Great book .. for fans and haters alike. The planning and science behind the success
For a Pats fan this book is a true page turner. The author< Michael Holley, is also very straight forward about the legions of Pats haters and gives a fair account of why they are so rabid and where their rage fails to meet the test of facts and where the Belichik plays it close to the line. It's great to discover how this franchise was built beyond just Brady and Belichick (although those two are the perfect storm), and how the team is built around a player evaluation system built by Belichick. It's fascinating to discover how this system was inspired on a book written by his Dad, started with his days with the Browns and perfected with the Patriots. The player value system is based on versatile skills and financial considerations that rival the Billy Bean model. It shows us how one of the NFL's most successful franchise was built and continues to be run. The pairing of Brady and Belichick is undoubtedly the center piece, but Belichick built it to succeed beyond his tenure. The next book by Holey should be about Robert Kraft. That would be equally fascinating.
