Good replacement for 20+ year old obsolete window molding.
I used this universal weather stripping to replace old stiff OEM windshield (top) & hatch glass (top and bottom) weather seals on a 2001 Mercury Cougar. The old seals were obsolete so I had no choice but to go with a universal one. I liked the addition of the adhesive strip pre installed on the weather stripping. The weatherstripping gave a clean professional look and functions really well. The water beads up on the rubber and rolls right off. There was enough length to replace 3 of the original weather seals on the vehicle.

Was not the right door trim for my vehicle
Bought this door trim for my 2008 Audi A4 quattro 2.0 T S line model. And said it fit my vehicle. This door trim is super thin and small compared to the one I have on my doors already.

With this simple rubber strip, you can seal the outside sounds a little bit better than not having it. this makes your car ride more sound comfortable. Easy to install and stick up perfectly.
