These days most blue tooth speakers or the radios come in rather small handy sizes but with not so great sound quality. This one is a great one to keep in the room and enjoy super quality sound with a 40 Hz-20K Hz frequency response with built in equalizer pre-sets. Though without using the pre-sets it sounds great but it all depends on the individual's preference. The highs and lows are great without clipping of the frequencies even at lower or higher volumes. FM signal reception is great if you extend the antenna to catch better waves in the rooms filled with other furniture or obstacles for the signal. It is rare to find a good quality radio for home, this one gives great performance to the radio lovers like me. I have tested the blue tooth, FM and USB, all without any issues. The USB can read MP3 but not the Flac files. The footprint is small but the quality of sound is really good. I am very happy listening to the great sound for the last couple of weeks. Remote is very handy and responsive.

In 3-4 years it stopped working a 2-3 times and had to be repaired as the sound cracks. Akai service is very bad as there is no response for my recent complaint. Very disappointed with this product though the sound quality is good. But what use if it goes faulty again and again. Very bad build quality.

Hi guys, to write a review for sound system is most toughest job, because there is no end to final satisfaction when it comes to listening a song through a sound device. However, I think one should keep in mind the money spent, considering the similar type products of different brands. Delivery of this product by Amazon at Mumbai was excellent. I received it within 36 hours of my order. It was nicely packaged too. Now coming to this product, we should remember that getting a tower type sound box in comparison to sound bar under 4k is truly worth the purchase. The clarity of sound is excellent whether it is played under highest or lowest (minimum) volume. The BASS is also amazing. To be very frank, I dind't expect such quality of sound at this price. For a home playing, the sound is enough. Some may still feel the lack of DJ loudness, as I already told that sound satisfaction is never ending process, specially in this era of contineous technical upgradation. Dont't expect a DJ type sound from it. But the clarity & perfect bass of this system will surely mesmarize you. Please listen to the music in the attached video, which was recorded in very low volume. You can surely guess the clarity from there itself. If you are not a loudy type of person & loves the perfection of the music, can go for it blindly.

The speaker performance is normal.. About it’s clarity 60% marks could be given. Hype created so-far about the super boss effect is far from truth. Akai brands sharp sound production is nowhere near its real which the company was boasting of. Better products are available off the shelf that produce more loveable melody for the audiophiles for a competitive price in the market.. decision would be yours at the end of the day..make sure you are putting your hands on the right stuff..

It's value for money considering bought this for less than 3K during offer. It's sound is really loud. Can easily connect it to Alexa and TV Bluetooth. I bought an mic too, and it's working good with this speaker. There are few this which can be improved like the sound quality. Even though for this price range not much disappointed. Also radio quality is very poor. And I an not using it.
