My engraver engraved these easily and quickly. It didn't smudge the image at all. The thickness is perfect, and they seem to be durable. It works really well for engraving words, but I haven't been able to engrave a clear picture yet. I was hoping to be able to engrave pictures of my kids onto it. The picture comes out fine until it gets to their eyes. That's where it fails to engrave the fine details making the eyes look empty. I didn't deduct any stars because I'm not sure if it's the tags or user error on my part. Overall, they engrave most things well. You get a lot of tags, that are all individually wrapped, for an affordable price. If you are looking to make name keychains, you can make a decent profit off of it.

Laser engraving is awesome but starting out you just have to have trial and error, but will pay off in the end!!! Will be buying more. Also when I sale these, the people let me get creative. Because if you buy these at a big box store, you get the same old same old. The last picture is where they let me get creative, so this person had a mixed dog. Pit + Husky + Mason, then he let me put the doghouse, dog bowl, and bone with some grass. So all I can say if you are doing stuff like this, try and think outside of the box, and let your creativity go.

Bought these to laser engrave to keep track of different keys. So far, I've engraved around 17-18 tags without any issue. Will probably buy some more of these when I run out.
