I already own one camera that has connectivity with MIPC app.So this is my second one.Packaging is done right. Without any of waste of materials.It has cables to plug it into the wall and the camera will start in a setup mode.It has a barcode to make things easy to pair but for some reason my phone (1+ 9pro) did not play well with this barcode. But there is also a way to punch in the ID of the camera which worked well.After about a minute, maybe less, the camera was paired with the phone and WiFi network.The UI is rich with lots of features. It can tilt, choose HD level, great night vision. It has sd slot and cloud options to store it. Overall very good value for the money and highly recommended.

I bought this to watch my maltese whenever I was gone for too long since he's still a puppy and would try to get on my vanity or other things he knows he's not supposed to lol stubborn lil thing but cute. The quality and function of this camera is AMAZING! Really worth the buy. I just wish it was wireless. Had to hide the cord from my dog and attach to my extension cord to keep it high up. The only way to disconnect/turn off the camera, I was told to take it off the cord it came with. Still would purchase again if I knew this before. Night vision is great as well as sound and motion.

DO NOT BUY!Received the camera 10/11/21, initial setup took only about 5 minutes which was great.Started messing with settings IE: motion/sound detection etcNight vision is only functional if you leave other lights on to give some light in your area your watching, the camera itself does not look any better than trying to see in the dark by yourselfSound detection did not really work unless it was perfectly quiet in the house, we have multiple animals and 4 kids so that wasn't happening in my house.Motion detection was lagging and jumpy at best and did not follow if you walked through normal speed, you had to slowly walk for it to catch and keep up.The 2 way audio sounds like a muffled walkie-talkie and is barely understandable even right next to camera.It's now 10/13/21 and the camera worked this morning and this afternoon I went to check and it said offline.... Hour later still will not reconnect no matter what method I used, no matter how many times I restarted the app or camera or reset camera it would not pick up connection... Was informed by rep from Amazon that no contact method was given by manufacturer. Other reviews have stated this issue but I decided to try for the price... I am now returning for refund and already ordered and spent more on a good reviewed similar style different manufacturer camera...

The day night setting does not work correct. Went in auto the night and it switches tonight. It only stays on for a few minutes then goes black and then turns back on. The only way it works correctly if you manually switch to night vision. I purchased two of these cameras, and the same thing happens to both. I purchased one over a year ago and it works perfectly. I’m assuming it’s a software glitch hopefully there will be an update to correct the situation.

I am setting up this camera, looking forward to using it with my new dog. However, I’ve decided to not risk it, unless anyone can give me advice about how to protect the data on my phone and on the other devices on my wifi network. I’m not going to ask for my money back at this time.Is it possible to completely deactivate the app while I’m not using it? Or to only give the app access to the phone and the camera, but not to “all of the devices on my network,” as the app developer’s pop-up security request was worded?It didn’t make me feel any more confident when I downloaded the app and was creating an account. I discovered that the box was already checked for me to accept the privacy agreement and terms of use. When I tried to click on the links to the privacy agreement and terms of use, they were not accessible… they were blocked by the keyboard.Does anyone know how to get an iOS keyboard out of your way when the app developer has chosen to not give you access to the “Done” option to hide the keyboard?The only button that was accessible was the “next” button. If I had clicked on it, I would have given an unknown app developer access to the data on all of the devices on my network.

Excellent value, Very good picture quality, motion tracking is good, operates very quietly, I have not subscribed to there cloud service, I use a 32gb memory card which when set to record continuous will hold about 4 days of video, motion detection works well, the app works well, I have also connected it to my tinycam pro app for live streaming and is very stable.I have not found a way to get motion notifications, may be possible with paid cloud storage, I use it for watching my pets when I am at work so do not need notifications.sound quality is good, night vision works very well inside.
