No it does not shed or get fuzz balls. Love these blankets. Light weight and warm. All my husband would use.

These are similar or same as Hospital blankets that actually touch your whole body like a glove?

They are similar to a hospital blanket. I would not say like a glove but they do cover whole body. The person I bought the first one for is 6 feet tall and it covers them.nicely.

What size bed does this fit

The size of the blanket is closer to a twin rather than queen. The exact size of the blanket is 66x90. The blanket is made of 100% cotton therefore it will shrink in size after the first wash. A queen mattress size is 60x80. The blanket will cover it, but this is not considered a spread blanket.
