The Major Field Test (MFT) for MBA Study Guide: Complete with Sample Questions and Key Business Concepts

I was able to score over 80% on the MFT with the help of this guide.

Poorly written and not helpful for preparing for MFT exam.This book is basically a list of definitions and formulas with a single practice test. There are many typos in the questions (so bad that you cannot actually complete the problem).The questions in the practice exam are about concepts that are not defined or explained in the book. It would be helpful if there were explanations behind the test questions so it could be used as a study tool.

The introduction to the book is straight fluff on how to take an exam. If you're studying for this exam, you already know how to do that. Most of the book is simple definitions which don't really help all that much. The next section is a bunch of equations, which I think is the best part of this book. I don't believe I'll use them much on the exam as the ETS practice test doesn't really require that, and the real exam doesn't allow calculators. The next section is a practice exam - there are a lot of questions to go through, but I didn't find many of them that helpful or aligned with the ETS sample questions. I have yet to take the MFT MBA exam so I can't testify as to the degree to which the sample questions in the book align with the real MFT exam. Finally, there are some questions that show the work on how to get the answer, but some of these are wrong. I stopped after just a couple when I noticed this issue (I did a practice test by answering random questions from the question bank). The Visual MBA book was much better and easier to absorb info from, but still not a great study guide.

This book doesn't help me to prepare the MFT at all. It is basically just like a dictionary if you want to know the definition of terms that you don't know. I think we all need a book that has lessons, not like listing definitions. I even recognized many typos... This is bad. They should check the content before publishing it.

There is no other book available on this. This book certainly provides required guidelines on what to be preparared.
