It’s a good read, overall. Towards the end, it could have been shortened. But it was okay overall. Great character portrayal!

Bestest read the trope is my favourite. It has everything drama, emotions, love. Can’t get it out of my mind.

I really liked the story. There are lots of twists and turns in this book and it really captured by attention well. This book is wholesome and it kept me hooked till the very last page. The chemistry between Alexander and Elena is something else and I loved both of them equally..Overall the beautiful marriage of convenience till now I've ever read. 📚 🥹✨️

Catharina Maura was a new author to me - and I thoroughly enjoyed this book. I was absolutely in love with our possessive hero - though I might not be in love with our heroine because she has shown as a such a fragile character that it was sometimes making no sense. I enjoyed it for a one time read and it was good. I like the part where secrets were revealed and some of were really what was I expecting.

I just couldn't put it down. It was absolutely brilliant. Alex and Elena chemistry and love was off the charts. I can’t believe what happened with her family that was just so traumatising and how they treated her was disgusting but she came through in the end. Elena was a strong and lovable character and her connection to Alexander was electric. Alexander would do anything for his family and this came through strongly. This book was jam packed and I highly recommend it....

No words to describe how amazing the story is. As usual her work are masterpiece and always so easy to read.I always complete her books in one sitting maybe more than 1at a time.But I just love her work. These all are swoon worthy and like a fairytale that always ends with a happy ending.It leaves me with so much giddiness.Just love her work.

A book rich with romance, passion, angst, betrayal and all the emotions you can imagine!Uff it was a roller coaster ride that I enjoyed very much.Loved the badass protagonists and their family. I loved how the villains got their comeuppance and heroine’s showdown.Safe and recommended.

This was an amazing story. Honestly, it felt like a beautiful love story with an underlying suspenseful mystery wrapped into one book. There was angst, romance, and spice, I really couldn't have asked for more.

I loved this story so much!I understood Alec most of the times and could see him falling in love with her in every page! Beautiful!

this was my first book by the author I’ve ever read, and it has been a phenomenal read!! I started reading it. I could not put this book down. The characters are written so fantastic. The way it was breaking my heart at times only to be put back together in the most beautiful manner. The characters are so well written the storyline is so well developed just a fantastic read and I would recommend this to everyone.

Catharina Maura is an amazing writer. Each book she writes is masterpiece and this one is no exception. Sometimes Alec said and did things that made me soo angry. Elena has a golden heart and angel patience. He is lucky to have her. The book is definitely worth reading.

This book has been sitting in my amazon list just waiting to be bought for a while now, but I most definitely realised my mistake when I began reading it, because this book is bloody amazing. Alec and Elena are honestly such an amazing couple. Watching Alec realise that he is falling for Elena, and realising he doesn't have to be worried that he's fell in love with her, and that they are each other's forever, makes my heart melt 🥹🥰. I feel the book length was the perfect size, it benefits the story so much, as it allows for them to fully explore their relationship. I was definitely not expecting some of the twists that occurred, but it was amazing how it kept me guessing ☺️. I loved Grandpa, Luce, Sofia and Sarah! Grandpa and his vegetables (also the way he was there for Sofia ❤️), Luce and his taste in lingerie, plus the premise of him and Elliott (yay!! ☺️) and Sofia and Sarah being such strong amazing female role models, their friendship is beautiful. These are absolutely the type of characters that stay with you. This book had me completely hooked from the first page and I am happy to say that it is definitely reread worthy lol.Update: So I just finished my reread and I can't say that my opinion has changed at all since the first time I read this book. It's like fine wine, it just gets better every time. I think that the first time I read this book, was the first time I read anything by Catharina Maura (don't quote me on that though, my memory is atrocious lol 😂), and her skill for writing is absolutely amazing. She has wrote some of the best books I've read in my life, and I'm probably going to buy every book she ever writes lol. Each book hooks you and keeps you there, providing a beautiful literary landscape that you can't wait to explore. Honestly, if you've never read a Catharina Maura book before this, well what are you waiting for? ☺️😏
