I own 2 of the shakti brands and one non. There is a difference. Shakti is top quality. Take note that there are different levels of these mats. This one is very intense and I don’t recommend it for a first timer. The original level is actually perfect. I would suggest this one after you have a lot of experience with the original version. You have to commit in order to get to the benefits. Make it through the first 3-4 minutes and you’ll be surprised at the switch from pain to a relaxing, pleasing sensation. I have fallen asleep many times on mine. Good luck.
