Thickness: 13.2mm, Diameter: 39.4mm, Lug-to-lug: 48.1mm, Band is 20mm tapering to 18mm. Stainless Steel Casing, Calf Skin Black Leather Band, Curved Hardlex Crystal, and rear display case back. Driven by SEIKO's 4R36 Automatic movement with the Day and Date. Mine came with English and Spanish day options with Sunday displayed as RED. This SPRG39 came in the standard packaging consisting of Amazon Box, Black SEIKO Packaging Box, SEIKO Grey and White marbled cardboard display box. The watch was strapped around a very cushy black pillow, had the original SEIKO product tag attached and had the protective tape on the dial and back of the case. THESE ARE ORIGINAL PRODUCTS. I was pleasantly surprised to see that was a true SRPG39 as indicated by the "Made in Japan" label just on the left of the dial’s 6 o'clock position. The Japan made SRPG39 tend to have a higher build quality and are highly sought after compared to the similar SRPG39K1 or SRPG39J1 which are the same watch parts but made in Malaysia and lack the "Made in Japan" inscription on the dial. These tend to sell for a discount compared to the Japan models. The watch is gorgeous! At this price point just BUY IT! You will not be disappointed. The 39.4mm Case wears well for all wrists types. As pictured, I have an 8-inch wrist and it wears just fine. Not overwhelming on smaller wrists but it will not get lost on larger ones. The deep blue dial has applied gold color metal Arabic numbers for the hours and accompanying gold-colored hour and minute hands. The second hand is black with a red tip which does well for precision. The blue and gold colors complement in a STRIKING fashion. It's GORGEOUS! As the photo shows, the illumination on the hands is quite adequate for this style of watch. The black Calf Skinned strap has a nice semi-gloss to matte finish with almost a lizard textured pattern. It has white stitching accents near the lugs and at the tip of the band. The band is subtle and does not deter from the beautiful dial but helps to enhance the brushed stainless steel case and bezel. The strap size is the popular 20mm which means strap options will be plentiful. You can change the strap and change the attitude of the watch for any occasion. The watch is powered by SEIKO's famous 4R36 automatic movement which you can see from the display case back. It has a day and date complication along with a Hacking feature (The second hand stops as you are setting the watch. This aids in accuracy and is a MUST for classic Military Field Watches). Mine came with English and Spanish options for the day and Sunday displays in RED. The watch did not come with the warranty card from the seller, Watches Gala. It came with instructions on how to request one from the seller. This made me a bit nervous. I followed the instructions, which were to contact the seller through AMAZON to make the request. SAM replied within 24 hours and assured me that he can send it out to me via USPS within a few days. SEIKO requires their Authorized online vendors to fill out the warranty card and send it directly to the purchaser to prevent fraud. This made sense and SAM was a man of his word. I received my filled-out warranty card and all was right in the world. I absolutely trust Watches Gala as a seller and will buy future watches from them. They offer a genuine product, in new condition, at great prices with the assurance of timely and friendly customer service! The SEIKO SRPG39 gets 5 stars! Unique design from the Seiko 5 line, quality construction and a great value at this price point. This model caught my eye a while ago because of how it was styled and I finally pulled the trigger when I found a deal on here. Now it’s my daily wear for work when I’m at the office. My wrist is 7.5in and this is a perfect fit at 39.4mm. Make sure you’re getting the standard SRPG39 model for Made In Japan authentication and not the model ending in "K1" if you're a stickler on that stuff.

Beautiful watch. Leather feels nice too

The Seiko SRPG39 is a good full-featured mechanical field watch. With a day-date complication, and 24 hour dial, this watch measures 39.4 mm in diameter and has the reliable 4R36 movement. The SRPG39 is both automatic and hand-windable as well as hackable. I've found this watch to be more accurate than either my older Seiko 5 or my Orient watch. Factory spec for Seiko 5s is –35 to +45 seconds per day, but this watch appears to lose only about 12 seconds per day (at least for now) - an impressive level of accuracy for a mechanical watch at this price. Where I take off points is in dial readability. The gold numerals, and the white on black day and date on this model are much less legible than my older Seiko SNZG11 which has bright white numerals, and black on white lettering for the day-date. It's not a deal-breaker for me, but I would have preferred brighter numbers and letters, which contrasted better with the black dial face. This is an attractive watch, which looks good on my wrist as is. The leather band is a bit "military" looking, but with a change of band, this watch would fit almost any occasion. If you have looking for a reasonably priced, brand name, reliable, good quality watch, the Seiko SRPG39 is certainly worth a look. I'm keeping mine!

Beautiful watch! Runs about two minutes fast a month. I can live with that.

Even better quality than I thought. Gold Arabic numbers, 24 jewels, genuine leather band. Famous caliber 8R46. Easy to manual wind. I tested and it stayed moving for over 40 hours.

Great watch. Important to note that numbers do not glow in the dark. The hands and point indicators do though.

Love this watch. Get compliments on it all the time. Not a fan of the dome crystal. Adds a touch of distortion when viewing on a deep angle. But that can be replaced if need be. The light hits the gold numerals when you move the watch and you get this awesome shimmering affect for a second. Telling good time so far. (Unchecked on timegrapher) Strap is very good quality. Can feel the weight of the watch but it’s not heavy. As for the seller. The was a very small scratch near the top right lug and no plastic protection on the watch. I know that there is always one on the exhibition crystal. Missing on this one. I reached to ask if this was a return or display model. No response. It was on sale and it’s now my Daily water so I’ll hold my breath and enjoy the watch.

Meu primeiro automático e estou encantado! Muito lindo fora e no punho também, é bem versátil e discreto, mas de grande valor. Pulseira de qualidade, espessa, bem trabalhada. Bem leve, sente pouco no punho. Veio com todos os acessórios, caixa, manual, garantia e até o selo no caseback. A caixa veio amassada, mas eu não esperava perfeição, já que era uma compra internacional. O produto chegou antes do prazo, achei incrível! Enfim, ao meu ver, fiz uma excelente compra! Recomendo demais!

Excelentes reloj. La esfera es muy sencilla pero con detalles Muy agradables los números y manecillas en color bronce le da un gran aspecto. Llegó bien calibrado con +1 seg/día. A caja tiene unos terminados rugosos y asperos que van muy bien con el estilo militar de este relojLlegó en excelentes condiciones y antes de lo esperado. Es un excelentes producto a un precio razonable.

Field com estilo!

Es un reloj hermoso, se ve mucho mejor en persona que en fotos. La correa pareciera como si fuera usada pero supongo que es parte de el “estilo” de la propia correa al igual que el pulido del propio reloj que es como si ya estuviera rayado pero está hecho asi a propósito. A mí me encanta ese acabado. Estaré usándolo y actualizaré mi opinión después de unos días de uso.
