Easy to track your shots and play each round!
The tags are really easy to install on most standard sized grips. The app is very easy to use and has useful course maps that help you quickly measure your shot distances, distance to the green, distance to hazards, etc. You never need to charge the tags- just setup once with the app and go out & enjoy the course. It takes about 1-2 minutes to label each club brand/name/grip that you use, so it's best to do at home for a stress-free experience. Make sure NFC is on when you use the tags and GPS is on when you're on the course.Integrats great with a Samsung phone and Samsung watch.Depending on your phone model & case, you may need to remove the case to have the tags properly read on your phone. Practice a few times when you're assigning the tags to find the right spot on your phone for NFC and remember to use the same spot when you're on the course - you will be much happier with the experience! Once you are familiar with the process, it's super quick and easy. The statistics on the app for each club are really great to understand club gapping, especially the more rounds you play.

Game changer!
When I say game changer it definitely will. If you’re a nerdy golfer that likes to analyze your round, this is for you. You can break down your round to the craziest detail and have a real world idea of how far and well you hit each club. Forget the range data. This uses real playing and real life scenarios and will recommend to you what clubs to use. Once I started using this I stopped using my rangefinder. The 2 and only downsides I could think of are:1. You will need to play the round with your phone in your pocket so you can scan each club. Now if this could use the Apple Watch to scan then it would be much much better!2. You have to scan each club just before you hit it. It will definitely change your pre-shot routine. If you don’t scan, then it won’t know where your ball landed from your previous shot and it won’t be able to calculate distances for you. This is the BIGGEST issue in my opinion. Because once you miss the scan, the rest of that hole is pretty much useless for this app. It’s cumbersome to try and correct it during the round and if you can remember the exact locations you hit each shot, you can do it post round. This reason is the biggest negative for me. If you can remember to scan it just before you hit, then you’re golden. Once you forget, all heck breaks loose.Scanning can also sometimes be finicky as you get the sensor on the club close enough to the part of your phone where the NFC sensor exists (it’s different on different phones). But with vibrate and sound on, you’ll get confirmation each time. Just be prepared for the weird looks as you try to jab the end of the club into your thigh (where your phone is) before each shot to scan. Haha.Everything else about this is fine. It fits well on most grips, it’s stays on, it’s durable. If you have the fat superstroke putter grip then you’ll need to buy the adapter or make one yourself. You can 3D print them too.If they could only improve the scanning part like using a smartwatch or including a sensor on your bag that can detect which club you’ve got, or a small wearable sensor that is reliable with good scanning range that you can clip to your belt or keep in your pocket.

GolfPadTags.. Absolutely Amazing
I highly recommend this product for anyone who is looking to improve your game! Have you ever been to the range or on the course and hit an amazing shot with your irons or driver but wondered how far you actually hit it? Well now you can this amazing product will give real time feedback on club distances, shot dispersion, fairway hit or missed shots, putt shots and so many other great features without breaking the bank!!! Great product great price what more could you ask for, I love how slim these tag are when actually on the grip they don’t stick out a lot like some others that I’ve seen, Overall like I’ve said I’m very pleased and highly recommend.

Tap and go
These are a good idea but I find them to be more of a distraction when playing. Depending on your phone you have to touch them on a certain location on the phone for them to synch. This can be difficult if you have your phone in a holder or in your pocket as you have to literally touch the spot and the sensor together. I have an android and it is the center of the back of the phone so if my phone is in a phone holder the back is cover making it difficult. The tapping adds another thought process to an already mentally tough game. Better for a practice round when you can take your time. Use is not as easy as I thought it would be. Seems to be accurate thou and you need the app too.

Good!
I recently purchased them wanting to understand my actual average distance with each club, also taking into account wind, heat, etc. conditions. If I understand the real distance of each club, I can make better decisions during the game. That is my plan!!

Tags break easily
I can see how these might be good but not for me. I have 4 rounds in and two have broken off the clubs. I have a 14 club divided bag and this shouldn’t happen. I went to putt and it had come off the putter mid round. The 4 hybrid broke off in the first round. I can function just fine with the watch and enter clubs that way. It’s a shame because the app is really great at learning about your game.

It's like having a caddy
Got it! Here’s a simpler, closer-to-your-voice version:I picked up a few GolfPad tags at the golf show. Now, with my new clubs, I wanted to tag them all. This is great tech—GolfPad really nailed it. My handicap usually sits between 9 and 12, depending on a lot of things, and having my swing tracked by GolfPad actually helps me understand why. There’s a lot I could say about it, but here are the top three things I love:1. It’s super easy to track my distances without taking my phone out of my pocket.2. Setting things up is a breeze.3. The amount of data is incredible. I can spend hours looking into the numbers.I don’t spend a lot on golf gear, but this is something I should have gotten a long time ago. It’s definitely helping me improve my game, track my averages, and keep my handicap steady. I love it.
