These are nice, and give the food a great flavor. They're larger chunks than some, I'll wrap a piece in aluminum foil with some slits in the top and it will smoke for the entire cook. Can't beat the smell of real wood in the barbecue.

Good quality, great flavor

Used the chunks for smoking and grilling on a Weber Mastertouch. Got some good flavors, miles beyond my pellet smoker. If you live in a place where good quality firewood is not easy to come by, these are a great option. The chunks are pretty dry and ignite easily but are lacking in that last 20% of flavor you can get from good locally sourced wood. As a for-instance, I was able to get a much larger bag of fresh splits, about 40lbs worth, at my meat market for about $5 more than the price of these, and with a much more prevelant hickory flavor - granted this is rural Texas we're talking about here. So if you don't have a place like that local to you, these are a great option, and I would highly recommend for flavor and convenience.

I have been complaining over Weber brand chunks - as I throw out about 1/4 of the bag - and I have been doing this for some time - regardless of the size. Why? Unidentifiable wood pieces - pith wood you would NEVER use. When I saw this brand and supposedly nice size (uniform) I thought - gimmick. I ordered it. WOW - FINALLY a company that provides premium wood chunks. ALL the chunks are Hickory - NO odd - what the hell is this stuff in the bag. No giblets. All uniform - all hickory - premium. NOW I am going to order their other wood types. IT IS WORTH the price (higher than Weber) because NO WASTE. I dumped out this entire bag and was just overwhelmed to see such perfect wood chunks. In the smoker right now - I can smell the hickory!!

Worked great for a brisket we were smoking. Added a great flavor to the meat. Was very easy to use and lasted a long time in the smoker. Would definitely recommend.

Everything about this product is perfect. The cleanliness, quality, size, burn time, and smell is great for smoking.

Best wood I have ever used to cook on my smoker. Excellent burn and outstanding flavor. I will be purchasing more soon.
