When i have both 4k devices monitor do i use rx or tx to get 4k 30hz clear view ? thanks

Tx or transmit is connected to your source and Rx or receive is connected to your display. Level of Category twisted pair will dictate if you can send 4K. I believe Cat6 is recommended for 4K. I’ve sent 1080p over Cat5e.

You just need a HDMI cable to connect a laptop to a TV if your laptop has an HDMI output.

Can i use cat5 cable?

It won’t work for mine with cat5e. Run is about 120 feet
