This tawa really made the crispiest dosa and it was so easy to take them out and flip them. I also told my mom to try Chapathi and she made pretty good chapathis. The size is big and its very useful for multipurpose and value for money. Also as its cast iron tawa the heat distribution is balanced from all sides.

Disappointing Experience with The Indus Valley Cast Iron Tawa I recently purchased The Indus Valley Cast Iron Tawa, excited to try it out for the first time. Unfortunately, my experience has been extremely disappointing. On its very first use, after just three to four minutes on the gas stove with a small amount of oil, the tawa cracked. I was shocked, especially since cast iron is supposed to be durable and long-lasting. I followed all the care instructions properly, but it still failed to perform as expected. It’s incredibly frustrating to invest in a product that breaks right out of the box. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this tawa to anyone looking for a reliable and sturdy cooking tool. Definitely not worth the money.

Strong, durable, and easy to handle with the silicone grip — totally worth it. Heats evenly and uses very little oil for perfect crisp results every time. Excellent quality tawa with a smooth surface that makes dosa and chapathi cooking effortless.

Needed some seasoning before regular use. Well made compared to few other online brands as someone who has used cast iron for a long time , I was surprised that its thickness was less than ones I own ( thicker than carbon steel ones , but thinner than regular cast iron pans) . Needs to wiped down immediately after every wash, otherwise develops rust ( which can be washed off) I personally lean towards the thicker cast iron pans , for its slow and steady heat control vs this one which gets heated up very quickly after two dosas

Good quality product. before using proper seasoning it with oil and it become non-stick without any chemical coating. perfect for rotis, parantha and crispy dosas. heavy weighted ,durable ,size is big .easy to use and clean. perfect for daily use. value for money must buy .

Very worst product... I am giving a review after 10 days of use. Dosa pan got heat at the middle portion nly.. dosa will not cook evenly, dosa is burning in the middle, and the end portion not cooks fully,bcz the heat spreads nly middle portion of the pan.. waste of money
