They look very similar to the Lego you can buy, but they don't quite go together as easy. Fun to build, but they don't always stay together well. Review: Absolutely terrible! - These sets are a tremendous disappointment. They are the lowest quality building sets I've seen since the very early days of Mega Bloks 20+ years ago (Mega does much better today!). The pieces either are so stiff that they don't go together, or they're so loose that they don't hold. I got three of these for my nephews and they disliked them so much that they didn't even keep them. I'm a HUGE GI Joe fan so I was hopeful that these were an extension of Hasbro's old Kre-O line, but they're not. The blocks themselves don't stay locked and the figures come DISASSEMBLED in a million not-child proof pieces. Toy assembled is very small also.
