Will this unit display the wind chill? How is that function activated?

Dear Chris,Hello.I am Cindy from Holdpeak sales support. No!Our 866A anemometer measures wind speed, wind temperature and wind flow.If you need the wind chill function,I suggest you'd better to choose our 866B anemometer, which is the best seller of anemometers in our store.I hope my answer will be helpful!

what is the minimum and maximum temperature it can measure ?

The booklet that is supplied with the meter states: "-10 degrees C. to 60 degrees C. which is 14 degrees F. to 140 degrees F."

Holdpeak hp-866aseries portable anemometer usb/handheld with data logger is powered by 2xaaa batteries or 1 9v battery ?

Dear Jorge,Hello.I am Cindy from Holdpeak sales support. Our 866A anemometer have included two 1.5V AAA batteries.I hope my answer will be helpful!

Is the wand waterproof? I would like to use it to measure water flow in a small stream.

Dear friend, Thank you for choosing HOLDPEAK! I don't recommend that you use it to measure water flow. First of all, it may lead to short circuit of the instrument, and secondly, the result of measurement will be very erroneous. I hope this can help you. Best regards, Yours sincerely Livyen HOLDPEAK

Measure airconditioning ducts

This anemometer works great and you can't beat the price point. I only use the analog readout so it is just what I need.
