Great Item
Great item, I've had it for a year and it has worked when needed! I leave it on all the time and I have never changed the battery!

It could save your life and the quality of your intellectual functioning
In March, I was exposed to Carbon monoxide from a poorly installed HVAC system a week after moving into the house I had purchased. My ADT home alarm triggered 12 hours after it was reconnected and brought fire and police to my rescue. I had the HVAC relocated from crawl space to attic and thoroughly reinstalled. Subsequently, I had a malfunction of my one home alarm sensor, so a false alarm. The policeman who came to check for me carried one of these devices. I bought one for a backup and have much greater confidence in it. I phoned the manufacturer and spoke with a technical expert who explained how to use it. You keep it on continuously, and it will last 2-4 years so far as the battery is concerned. It is giving me confidence in the quality of the HVAC reinstallation. It reads zero all the time and per the technician's advice, I checked it on the exhaust from my car. It went up immediately so is working well.

Good but fragile
Product is good, responsive. Alarm isn’t loud for a GA cockpit, and the screen can be very easily damaged and cracked by a small fall. Also it requires recalibration by authorized personnel every 2 years. Sad we can’t do that down in Argentina

The original CO detector arrived and it was defective. Returned to vendor, they immediately sent another detector to me. This CO Detector worked as advertised. Satisfied with this purchase.

Sensitive and portable CO detector, great for traveling,
I travel a lot and am apprehensive about staying in hotels without CO monitoring especially reading about horrific news that tourists died from CO poisoning in hotels and Airbnb.This CO detector is very sensitive. It was reading 9 or 10 when I was in a hotel in a major city in the daytime and 5 or 6 at night. This is probably from the pollution of the traffic. Most of the time it was reading zero in mist of the resorts.It uses lithium battery so it should last for a while. It will be better if it also comes with a little bag for traveling.

CO is a threat to all pilots. This is cheap and dependable insurance.
