The box was a little hard to maneuver by myself, but the chair is easy to grip and reasonably light, so if you need to go upstairs I would suggest taking it out of the box first. I’m in a first floor apartment so I just dragged it in. Assembly couldn’t have been easier — took 10 minutes to screw on the legs. It’s a very sturdy chair, and the cushion fits tightly in place. I bought a foldable purple velvet ottoman from desertcart to go with it. This is the first time I have ordered furniture on desertcart and I am very pleased with the whole experience.

Arrived several days early, and I love it! I was looking for something lightweight that goes with my other colorful velvet pieces and this is just right. The box was a little hard to maneuver by myself, but the chair is easy to grip and reasonably light, so if you need to go upstairs I would suggest taking it out of the box first. I’m in a first floor apartment so I just dragged it in. Assembly couldn’t have been easier — took 10 minutes to screw on the legs. It’s a very sturdy chair, and the cushion fits tightly in place. I bought a foldable purple velvet ottoman from Amazon to go with it. This is the first time I have ordered furniture on Amazon and I am very pleased with the whole experience.
