How often do you have to oil the blades?

I oiled them before we used the clippers the first time. They worked very well. I have not used them a second time yet.

Where are these made?

On the front of the box it says “ Proudly Made in the USA”

Are they zero gapped?

Whal has a history of being top; generally Whal is tops! By 'zero gapped' if you're asking of teeth on the clippers are well meshed, no they're not; in the sense that mine ran with a humm beyond the humm considered normal of small electric appliances. I'm not mechanically oriented, but I had to tighten & adjust my pair on my own. I wonder of the quality of the cuts these clippers supply, never-the-less since my 1.5 yrs ago purchase they are working.
