I have used them for everything from battery cables on my diesel Ford truck to cable ends on my 220V Lincoln welder without a single issue. **Q: Are these copper lugs safe to use for 120v?** A: Yes. They are certified up to 600 Volts AC at 275 Degrees F. **Q: what size is the opening to fit 2/0 awg wire. Chart says 11.7?? My cable meassures 15.2mm** A: Even if the chart say for 2/0 wire, I do not believe it can be use in that gane. I will use it in a #2 awg wire where it fits fine. Do not buy this item for a 2/0 wire. **Q: I've got a one time use for these, is there a way to crimp them without a special tool? I hate to buy one and never use it again** A: could use a pair of pliers or channel locks.
