COMPLETE WASTE OF YOUR MONEY. DO NOT BUY. Bought this for snorkeling in Cancun. It does protect the contents from water but you can't use the touchscreen on your phone, the hard transparent plastic covering the phone is way too thick and not flush against the device. This forces you to leave your camera app open and overheat your device! Tried this case with an Iphone 11 Pro Max. Turned on my camera app wheb we got on the boat and put the phone in the case. got to the snorkeling spot minutes later and was met with an overheat warning and couldn't use my phone. had to leave it on the boat. It's not in original condition anymore so I can not return it. If this is a version 2 case the why hasn't the manufacturer addressed this issue???

The camera shutter button on the case doesn’t work on iPhone 12. The case has two little nubs on the inside that are supposed to depress the left and right sides of your iPhone (volume button and power button) at the same time to take a picture. Your iPhone 12 will fit in the case, but the two nubs don’t move enough to depress those two buttons at the same time (barely touches the volume button and won’t touch the power button) to take a picture. You can use the touch screen to take a picture but it’s difficult to do and wouldn’t work well with gloves on. The card itself looks well made, sturdy and is waterproof. It just won’t take pictures like it the manufacturer says it will.Update to this review: The company did reach out after I posted this review and offered me a refund. While the product didn't meet expectations, I have to give the company credit for their customer service.

It was very big and bulky. And the button on the inside seemed very flimsy and didn’t want to work all the time. I sent it back I have an iPhone 8 PlusI’m just looking for something much simpler

I haven't shot with it yet, but I tested it in the sink with tissue inside and it is waterproof at least at that depth and I'm sure somewhat deeper. the shutter button works and you can actually use the phone while its inside. It's pretty darn cool

Used it couple times and it works pretty good. Its water tight. Have to push hard on the screen to operate. I like the option of taking live videos and or still pictures and posting it while I’m still in the water.
