Wife’s happy that she has heat on her 2007 Ford Expedition!!
Wife would complain about not having AC or heat coming from the front of her truck. I thought her to just smack or kick under the passenger dash since this got whatever was wrong working back again. After almost a year of kicking and smacking the black box under the passenger dash something quit working for good. I took a gamble on the blower and bought this one from TYC at a reasonable price since the local parts store wanted more than double in price for this. I’m not going to lie... it can be a pain in the rear to squeeze in and out these blowers on the expedition and you’ll be flexing your body like never before unless you do some yoga. Overall it took like 20-25 minutes for the install and again that’s because I’m a big boy and not really flexible at all. This thing fired right up and now wife’s doesn’t have to freeze any more which makes me happy since I don’t have to hear her mouth. Happy wife= Happy life

2008 Expedition blower fan fixed.
The blower fan in my 08 Expedition would intermittently cut out. No rhyme or reason, sometimes it would work sometimes it wouldn't. Replaced the original with this product several months ago and everything has been working great since. This blower is as quiet as the original and just as fast. Getting the old one out is a bit of a pain and will take the patience of a Saint. If your quick tempered have someone else do it. Several video's online show the process and the foam covering the floor pan just below the blower is going to get damaged, no way around it. Minimize the damage by working slow and don't yank and pull.

Fix your Ford AC yourself and save some money!
This is my first Amazon review, and I am writing it in order to help anyone else who has a problem with their air conditioner. I have a 2007 Ford Expedition, and I intend to keep my vehicle as long as possible, without spending a lot on repairs. Living in the south, we need our AC for 9 months of the year, so when I noticed that the would not blow occasionally I was concerned. It was an intermittent problem, and not wanting to take it in to the shop and spend a lot on labor just trying to diagnose an intermittent problem, I started researching online, and specifically the Ford Expedition forums. Thru that research I was hoping I had pinpointed the problem-the blower fan. What had been an intermittent problem finally turned permanent as the front AC stopped working altogether-not a good thing in July. I read the other reviews here, and took a chance hoping this was the answer. While waiting for it to arrive, I watched some youtube videos on replacing this part, and it seemed like something we could do.The part arrived sooner than the estimated date, thankfully as we were near 100 degrees. I was going to wait for my husband to get home and get his tools out, but my son, who has no mechanic experience, had the old one out and this one installed in a matter of minutes. No tools were required, the fan simply has a turn lock system. It is located underneath the glove compartment area of the passenger side front., so no panels needed to be removed.I am happy to report that it works exactly like the original, and my AC is back to being so powerful that we can deal with the extreme heat. I had checked on the Motorcraft part, which was over $100, and who knows how much it would have cost me to take it for service. If you can turn a knob, you can install this part.If you are having intermittent AC problems, please do some research and see if this part may be what you need to fix it yourself. The price was the best I had found, and I did check other websites just to make sure because I am thrifty!

Works perfectly for a 2007 Ford Expedition
Exactly what I needed to repair the intermittent blower motor on my 2007 Ford Expedition with digital temp control. The only very minor issue I had with installation was this motor was a little tighter fit to twist into place than the original.Otherwise, the operation is as smooth and quiet as the OEM part.

Low quality, lasted 1 year
Fan installation was fairly straight forward nothing too difficult. It was a bit hard to get at, but that is fords design not the fan. It worked fine through the summer and fall, but exactly 1 year after purchase this fan also died. It started making noises like a bearing was going out when it was cold. Very loud but only in cold weather. This morning it stopped completely. It wasn’t worth the savings, just hire the bullet and buy an original from your local auto parts store.

It really is a blower motor.
Even though the description title was wrong at the time I purchased it (maybe it's been corrected?) it was in fact a blower motor with fan that fit my 2007 Expedition perfectly. Only been in for a month but still running fine.

Works as designed
Direct replacement for original in a 2007 Expedition EL with digital controls (auto air).Replacement took all of 5 minutes. Works well.Examining the original fan motor, it seems the OE motor design is actually good, but they used cruddy compound on the brushes or too much spring pressure on them.

Worth the money!
My husband replaced the blower motor himself. It works better and stronger than the one that was in there.
