I have been using this for well over a year now, and it does make a significant improvement in the quality of stored material.In that time, I have only had one bag fail on me - a crease when compressing caused a tiny hole and the bag to allow air in.The sucking out process was a little frustrating to get going, but it works every time, just a few attempts!

There are many options to store 3D printing filament, but I find that most of them are overengineered and consequently over expensive. Some of these "solutions" will be more expensive than the filament they contain. You may also have the option to create your own storage/drying box, but it depends on how much time and space you have available for something like that...This filament storage kit is reasonably priced and offers a functional practical low-tech solution. You will get 10 thick plastic with a reliable airtight zipper. The set is completed by an "air sucking" hand pump and humidity sensitive tags. 1kg filament spools fit perfectly into these bags, but you may be able to fit in larger ones as well (not sure about 5kg ones).The bags are strong and I have been able to reused them many times without any damage.These bags will allow you to store your filament in any home environment and prevent damage caused by humidity. It is an essential kit that will save you from potential failures, hence I would 100% recommend it.

Yep this works fine. Would have been 5 stars but the vacuum pump is quite a slow way to get air out of the bag. I ended up leaving a small section of the ziplok open and sucking the air out with my mouth which only takes a few seconds, and then zip up and finish off with the pump, job done. Complete with some sachets of silica gel, the kit contains everything you'll need to keep up to 10 reels of filament nice and dry for a long time, they even include extra vacuum seals and of course you can buy dessicant anywhere if you're worried that its effectiveness might be fading with time (or dry it out in the oven to regenerate it)

You know sometimes you get something that does exactly what it claims to do, no fuss, no 'kind of almost' - it just works? Well, this does exactly that. The system is well designed, from the bags used to the vacuum pump, and everything's good quality. The vacuum seals seem to be reusable - you can open and close the bag multiple times and the vacuum holds - and you get spare vacuum seals as well. It's something I wouldn't hesitate to recommend.

The bags look good but the air valve is just a plastic sticker saying Air Valve. I sealed one bag after just squeezing all the air out, and one hour later it had lost that vacuum. The pump is useless. I can seal the end with my finger and the piston slides in out under its own weight, no sign of suction. Dont buy this, freezer bags do a better job and you get 20 in box for a couple of quid. The reviews on here cover all eSun products so the star rating is misleading.

The vacuum bags look great quality and are packaged nicely. unfortunately the manual pump just doesn't move any air. So it can create the sucking needed to create the vacuum. I had a wine bottle vacuum pump that I tried and this worked.I emailed support but they didn't get back to me

I was surprised how well this works. Bags are pretty sturdy and seal well. I have a couple that have been sealed a few months and still are holding their vacuum. Comes with dessicant and spare stickers for sealing.

I nearly gave up, but I persevered. . . All of "hints of use" are correct, but I would "smear" the blue valve/seal first and last, the clip run along 4 times and remove/recover. Pump about 2-3 time a Second ! (not slowly) When your in the "Groove" there will be resistance on the upstroke (can change to slow down, sharply up) Don't press the pump body down too much, in fact once it starts hissing ease off body pressure and "slightly" ease pad seal on one side. (the bags internal corrugations could/will be deforming, I included a 1.5" square of "Colour Magnet" fabric(or paper towel) inside under the valve for that reason)

Ottimo kit per mettere sottovuoto al sicuro dall'umidità le bobine di filamento per stampa 3D, valida la dotazione di sacchettini di Silica Gel e di indicatori di umidità da inserire nel sacchetto prima di fare il vuoto con la pompetta a mano.Piccolo consiglio "pompare" velocemente aiuta a creare il vuoto in pochi secondi, a fine operazione passare il dito sulla valvola per assicurarsi che è a tenuta.Riguardo la spedizione Amazon veloce come sempre. Unico Neo Amazon usa scatole proporzionate al contenuto e non giganti! Troppo spreco...

Tout est bien mais la pompe manuel rend le tout… pénible et long..
