Price is ridiculous
$28 for 6 ramen noodle bowls? Is this some kind of a joke?

YUM
This is BY FAR the best flavor of all the Maruchan Bowls, yet I can' find them anywhere, but online. I used to find them at my neighborhood grocery store (Food Lion), but they only carry chicken and shrimp now. It's difficult to describe how good this soup is. I definitely doctor it. I add fresh spinach, some cilantro, a few pierogies, and that's dinner for two!

One of my favorite flavors
All the hype with store-bought ramen noodles right now are for the hottest, spiciest flavors that people can stand. Those are all well and good, but most of the time I'm not looking to torture my digestive system, and I like a flavor that's a little more… savory. These fit the bill perfectly. The pork tonkatsu flavor is rich and meaty, good umami at work here.I originally found these at a certain big box odd-lots type store and bought all they had, but they eventually ran out and I had to turn to Amazon for my fix. The price is a little higher but I need my fix and it's not "gourmet store" expensive, so what better way to stock up than a whole box of 'em?Good dates on the ones I got, too, with plenty of time to keep them in the pantry for future use.

Hearty Tonkotsu flavor
These are the best instant noodles I have ever had. The rich pork broth is perfect on a cold day or as a hangover cure. The noodles have a very nice texture unlike many instant noodles. Having corn and chili flake is an added bonus.

The best!
Such creamy and beefy broth! The red pepper flakes add -just- a teeny, tiny (I can't even really taste it, but I am a "chili head") bit of spiciness to it.If you're looking to make it more spicy, have no fear: one is able to easily kick this up a notch or two with hot sauces, and the broth is so versatile in it's taste, that I haven't used any hot sauce yet that doesn't work with it. Everything from the sweet-strawberry Heartbreaking Dawn's "Cauterizer" to the very mild Pickapeppa sauce, to even El Yucateco's green chile.
