Green'N'Pack Extra Large Dog Waste Bags, 100-Count Premium Handle Bags for Giant Breeds (Heavy Duty Solution)

It has been several weeks since I have used these bags. I purchased the Giant Breed size for one primary purpose: to pick up and dispose of dog poo in my yard. The poo factories in question are an 80 pound black lab/giant Schnauzer mix, and a 45 pound, 6 month old Gooldendoodle. I tested these bags for three main characteristics....1. poo volume, 2. sturdiness, 3. ease of use and odor containment.My collection implements include a scoop and spade device from Petco like this item,  PETCO Scoop and Spade with Wood Handles, Large , and a #10 sized can. The poo bags are the perfect size to use as liners for the #10 can, which then keeps the bag completely open with the handles on the outside of the can. This configuration works well for me to scoop up the poo and then to easily dump the scooped poop into the bag. When I am done, I lift the handles of the bag which have been on the outside of the can, pull the used bag out of the can, and tie the handles together. No muss, no fuss. The poo never gets near the handles of the bag.1. Poo Volume. I am able to easily dispose of 2.5 days worth of poo produced by both dogs into one bag. Three days of poo is a tad too much.2. Sturdiness These bags are thick enough to make them fairly tough. I find these bags to be superior to using plastic grocery bags, and unlike grocery bags they are well constructed and I have never had a hole develop or poo break through the material.3. Ease of Use and Odor Control. Using the bags as a liner means that both of my hands are free, the mouth of the bag is wide open, and the bag doesn't collapse just as I am trying to get a scoop of poo to take residence therein. As to odor, once the bag is tied shut, I can barely detect a poo scent when placing my nose millimeters from the side of the bag (I just had to know). Apparently the containment is effective enough that there have been few flies buzzing around the outdoors garbage can.I have tried differing brands of bags over the years, and I find these to be extremely satisfactory to the job for which I intend them.

Through the years I have tried many, MANY bags- and I rate these as one of the best (or even THE best)For medium to big size dogs, these are everything you could want in a doggie poop bag (they are to large for small dogs).+ Really big- nice and tall with 'built-in' handles (so you can easily double and triple tie closed) and easy to carry until you find a trash bin. Opaque so you don't see what's inside. I like that they are rolled in a box for easy dispensing.NO complaints. Well, yes, they are more expensive than thinner bags... but worth every penny. A++

We use these bags to scoop the kitty litter for our three cats. We used to use the standard large grocery store plastic bags, but a recent bag ban has eliminated that option. When I went looking for bags these were the largest I could find, were biodegradable, and had good ratings, so I decided to give them a chance.So far so good. The bags are nice and thick, very sturdy. I really like that they degrade after a couple of years after being exposed to oxygen. On that note, I expected to receive bags that still had two years of life left, but actually received a box that was manufactured a year ago, meaning that they only have 1 year of useful life left. This isn't the end of the world, as we'll end up using all of the bags in less than a year. Still, had I purchased an extra box to stock up, this would have been bad.Also, I wish the bags were a bit larger. I've searched in vain for bags that would be the same size as the grocery store bags, but had no luck - these were the largest. Occasionally I have to use two bags at a time to scoop everything, but again, not the end of the world.Overall, I'm very pleased. We received the bags quickly and they work well. The only reason I didn't give them 5 stars were the two points I mentioned above. They're good, just not perfect.

I've really gotten in the habit of bringing reusable shopping bags to the store so I have finally depleted my stash of plastic grocery bags (yay!). However, that also means I've depleted my stash of litter box scoop bags. Wanting an Eco-friendly replacement (as Eco as a plastic bag for scooping poop can be), I searched for biodegradable alternatives. Most dog poo bags are too narrow to accommodate a scoop, or they are too short to tie off.These Green 'N' Pack XL Dog Waste Bags with handles are the perfect solution! They are large enough to easily scoop litter clumps AND the handles make it a cinch to tie. And 100 bags in a box make this an economical option as one box will last almost a year in a 1-cat household. Even better, the bags themselves aren't printed with the words "dog" or "poop" on them, which makes them great for other uses (car trash, etc). They are strong and quiet (no crinkle noise).The only reason I give them 4 stars is because no where do they blatantly state they are biodegradable, they merely imply it which makes me a bit skeptical about just how "green" they are. On the plus side, they do claim to be made of recycled plastic and I suppose that is the reason they are "Eco-friendly." If they make these bags 100% biodegradable then they would definitely receive a 5-star rating from me.

Good brand! I wish I could find them with the drawstring again - they were perfect for daily litterbox maintenance! The drawstring allowed the bag to close securely & made more room for the waste. The size was perfect, they opened up wide and the large metal scoop I use fit just fine. Since the drawstring bags are unavailable I ended up buying the same brand of these that have the handles (above). The thickness in both are good - no problems at all. The handled ones are a bit smaller, and at times it's hard to get a tight closure on the bag. these meet my needs fine, if I hadn't already used the drawstring style I wouldn't know there's a better version . I really hope they come back soon - they were perfect for what I bought them for. It would be nice to have a dark neutral color instead of bright green though. I've never had a problem with the thickness etc, only found 1 bad bag out of several hundred.
