Good full head and face protection
This helmet is very comfy with awesome thick and soft padding inside. Visibility is great - my son doesn't even notice the face guard. He's only been hit on the head once while batting since we got it and didn't even realise he'd been hit! Luckily the umpire did and he got a walk but it really says something about the comfort of the helmet and effectiveness of the padding in terms of shock absorption if one doesn't even notice one has been struck in the head! Thanks Rawlings. Very happy with this helmet and it's great value for money.

Great helmet
Great helmet for my 8 year old son. He is very fussy with wearing things. The helmet fits him perfect it is not to small but not to big that it is falling forward on his face. He will definitely be able to get more seasons out of this helmet. The cage protects the face amazing. No baseball will be able to ever touch the face anywhere with this helmet. The cage is far enough away from the face that he did not feel restricted or complain once about wearing it. For first time kids pitching to each other on the field it is perfect for a peace of mind as a parent. You know child face is fully protected!! Definitely a great purchase!!

Excellent protection! Tough to make the chin strap attach.
Purchased this item for my daughter after a couple of face injuries from foul balls. The fit was fine and it works as advertised. The chin strap is nice but it requires quite a bit of finger strength to make the clasp seat on the side of the helmet.
