So much better than the Razer Deathadder I had before.
I like a heavier mouse, and this is perfect. The software isn't the most user friendly, but it's still much better than the Razer software, and when you have it set up the way you want, you can store the profile on the device so you don't even need the software running. Some people will be happy with the default setup, in which case you don't need the software at all.

Great until the left mouse button fails
Very comfortable to use, accurate and some great features if you're into gaming. However, the left mouse button started to give up after just over a year and only sends around 50% of the clicks, which makes it mostly unusable. Anecdotally this seems to be a common problem on this unit.

Pretty good mouse, but not so great software...
The mose seems fine for everythign I've used it for so far, but the software use to configure it is not great. It's a bit messy and saving the settings on to the mouse seems to be spotty if it works or not. That being said though, after reprogramming th emouse and some of it's buttons for 30-40 minutes, I can use the mouse as I want and it works perfectly fine for me. For some games is has all that is required, but for some more ability heavy games there might be a bit too few buttons. But on the bright side, as there are not that many, it's easy not to miss click. And as you can rebind the DIP button to a custom key as well, I have 7 buttons to bid for the mouse in games while still saving one button to toggling between DPI modes (which I only use two of, so I'm always just one click away).

Beware the click faults
I really liked this mouse in terms of its design and performance. It's fairly wide so better suited for big bands. Like others, my left click failed after 5 months of everyday use. Amazon couldn't replace it instead offering a refund and I've replaced it with a Logitech G502. I actually prefer the M65 to the Logitech and will likely get another M65 and hope the switch doesn't break again or replace it myself next time around.
