Q: can you use screws or nails to attached to a deck?

Hello! I’m sure you can. I would use nails with a large head so that the mesh will remain secure under it. We used black zip ties to secure it to our black wrought iron fence to keep the dogs in the yard and prevent them from getting in between the spindles. They are huskies and have not damaged it. It’s also “invisible” so it does not take away from the fence and very durable. Highly recommend!

Q: Want to construct kitchen cabinet doors with simple white wood border and wire, would this be suitable?

This is light enough to cut and work with easily. The thin black coating could make the mesh almost disappear in cabinet doors. While I can't say for sure you would like it... it is a definite possibility and the price is low... so if you didn't like the prototype... you could just use the remaining portion to surround small plants or the bottom portion of a normal fence to try to keep rabbits out of a garden. Worth a try.

Q: What is the wire thickness before coating? Description says "easily cut with scissors" but 16 guage will not cut with scissors.

yeah it's 16 gauge (~1mm, or ~1/20th inch), and regular scissors definitely won't cut it. You'd want wire cutters or something like tin snips/shears (maybe that's what the description meant by "scissors")

Q: How can get 18"x24/48" piece.

It’s easy to cut with tin snips or with cutoff wheel mounted on grinder.
