Sorbothane is a proprietary, visco-elastic polymer. Sorbothane is a thermoset, polyether-based, polyurethane material. This dampener does make a difference in terms of arm health, without negatively affecting your game in terms of feel. Though, intended for stiffer racquets, I use this on my RA 64 one to take the vibration down even further. This is more than just hype.
