5543 Pastry Crimper, Stainless Steel and Wood

Easy to use and made well. But Extremely hard to clean! It's horrible, dough gets all on the inside and it takes forever to get it out and clean. I have since purchased a Single roller pastry cutter.

Does what it is supposed to do....I like the wood handle. Simple and works fine.

Cheap metal, cheap handle. Does what its supposed to, but should cost only fifty cents for the quality you get.

Do you need to cut pasta, but sometimes you want to cut it straight and other times you want ridges, but you don't want two different cutting tools? Then this should do nicely for you. I use this thing a few times a week at work to make fresh pasta and it works great. I've had it for about two months and haven't had any issues. My old cutter had a real bad wheel wobble, hopefully this one lasts me for a long while. It's looking good so far.

I used it for 3 times and then it broke. Besides being very easy to use, I do not recommend it as doesn't last long.

I used it to cut the dough in my Jamaican patties. It sealed it and gave me a finished edged.

The product does a great job. Is a little sharp and allow me to give a great finish to the product. I use for make vegan pop tarts and they look great with a sharp finish. Highly recommended for pastry uses. Is a little hard to clean sometimes but if you apply pressure water it cleans well. Work good and better when the dough is thick.

Some reviewers mentioned that their dough was sticking, I didn’t have this issue at all for pasta dough. Of course if your dough is too wet , it definitely will stick! Or If it’s too thick as well. Yes the pieces are not solid they kind of spin around and it’s not super tight, but I find that it helps with cleaning it out. Great crimper/cutter, make sure you apply a little bit more pressure to Cut through!

The fluted wheel is almost completely flat, the pattern is only really noticeable if you're looking for it, definitely not good enough for ravioli or other pasta work.

Very poor product. Doesn’t crimp the sheet of dough, it only cuts it like a regular straight cutter. Component parts are not aligned or tight, super wobbly.

Love it for edging pies and especially for making hand pies. Easy to clean as well.
