Way Easier Than Wrestling My Cats to the Vet Every Month
I have two cats and before I got these clippers, trimming their nails was basically a nightmare. I'd either have to pay like $15 at the vet just for a nail trim or try to do it myself with these janky old clippers that were so dull they'd basically just crush the nail instead of cutting it. My cats would freak out, I'd get scratched up, and half the time I'd give up halfway through. Not great. So I finally decided to invest in some actual decent clippers after my friend who's got like 4 cats told me about these. First thing I noticed is they feel really solid - they've got this nice weight to them and the handles are rubberized so they don't slip even if your hands are a little sweaty from trying to wrangle a squirmy cat. The blades are super sharp which I was actually a little nervous about at first, but it makes such a huge difference. Now I can actually get through both cats in like 10 minutes total instead of it being this whole ordeal. I keep these in the drawer of my coffee table in the living room because that's where I usually corner my cats when it's nail trimming time. I'll wait till they're chilled out on the couch, grab them, and just knock out a quick trim while they're still half asleep. The cutting action is really smooth and clean. With my old clippers I had to squeeze super hard and sometimes make multiple attempts on the same nail, which obviously made my cats trust the process even less. These just go snip and it's done. Clean cut, no crushing or splitting of the nail. My cats still aren't thrilled about it but the whole thing is over so much faster that they don't have time to work themselves into a full panic. I also really like that they've got the safety guard on them. I was always paranoid about cutting too far and hitting the quick, especially on my black cat where you can't see the pink part of the nail as easily. The guard gives me a good guide for where to stop, though honestly I still err on the side of caution and just take off the sharp tips rather than trying to get super close. One of my cats is pretty chill and I can do all four paws in one sitting. The other one is more dramatic and I usually have to do like two paws, give him a break and some treats, then come back for the other two later in the day. Either way these clippers make the actual cutting part so quick that even my anxious cat doesn't have time to completely lose it. They're also just really easy to use even when you're dealing with a cat who's trying to pull their paw away. The handles are long enough that you can get good leverage and the spring-loaded design means you don't have to manually pull them back open between cuts. Just squeeze, release, move to the next nail, squeeze, release. It's actually kind of satisfying once you get into a rhythm. I've been using these for probably 6 months now and they're still just as sharp as when I first got them. I trim both cats' nails about every 3 weeks or so to keep them from destroying my furniture, so these have gotten a decent amount of use. No rust, no loosening of the blades, still cutting clean. My furniture has definitely thanked me too. I've got this one chair that my older cat used to use as a scratching post and the arms were getting absolutely shredded. Regular nail trims have made a huge difference - she still scratches it but it's way less destructive when her claws aren't literal daggers. The only thing I'd say is make sure you've got treats ready for after. My cats have started to associate the sound of the drawer opening with nail trimming time, so I have to bribe them with some treats afterward to maintain any kind of trust. But honestly being able to do this at home in my living room while watching TV is so much better than loading them into carriers and driving to the vet just for a quick trim. If you've been putting off trimming your cat's nails because your current clippers suck or you don't have any, just get these. They're sharp, they're sturdy, and they make the whole process way less traumatic for everyone involved. Worth every penny to not have to schedule vet appointments just for nail maintenance.

Perfect Clippers
Perfect clippers, I'm lucky my kitty is easy when it comes to clipping his nails. These work great, are safe, and small enough to not take up too much space.

Highly Recommended but not Super Sharp
I got these because they were so highly recommended but I found they are not sharp enough to give a clean cut to my cat's nails I can cut two or three times and end up with something clean but most cats aren't going to sit there and let you cut two or three times on each nail so I'm not sure I would recommend these unless I just got a fluke pair that wasn't Sharp it's hard to say. But I like the size of them that they're nice and small I like that they were easy to use Easy to open and close and the rubber around the handle was super comfortable I just wish they were sharper and gave a cleaner cut

Simple, lightweight, and so easy to use.
Cuts are smooth and clean. The grit makes it helpful to hold onto when my cats are squirmy. Great quality for the price.

Tiny for larger breed cats
I have larger breed cats (ragdoll & maincoon) so their claws and paws are large. Clippers still work but wish they opened further for ease of use to get around cats claws.
