Protects Meds from High Temperatures Perfectly.
I purchased this because I was taking a week-long road trip and needed to take my temperature sensitive medication during the trip. I could not have asked for a better outcome. I started with the frozen gel pack, but by Day 2 I had to switch to the cooling feature because it was in the mid 90s. I paired this with the power bank and carrying sleeve. The three pieces worked together very well. When I needed to leave the car, I carried everything with me. I did not have any problems with keeping the meds at room temperature, which was my biggest concern. They provide a storage capacity chart. Use it to determine whether this will fit your needs. For me, the size was perfect, but I was only carrying one injectable. This system protected my medication from the heat, which is exactly what I needed. While it is pricer than other options, I would rather have a system that worked than one that could fail. if my meds were stored at temperatures higher than room temperature, there would have been a chance that the meds could have become cloudy or worse, which means that they cannot be taken. To me, making sure that the medication is protected from the heat is extremely important because the replacement, if I could obtain any, would be very expensive. Taking the chance that the meds were still alright even though they were exposed to extreme heat is not a chance that I was willing to take.

Perfect for long distance travel
We purchased this travel cooler for traveling obviously. We left Yuma, AZ about 8am & car traveled to Phoenix, AZ then flew to Miami, FL hubbyโs medicine was completely safe thanks to 4ALLFAMILY Explorer Insulin Cooler Travel Case. We followed the instructions & everything was perfect. No, troubles with TSA or the cruise line. Only negative, it only holds 2 of his auto injections shots, so if traveling longer than a week or two youโll need to purchase something else.

Does a great job keeping medicine cool for a couple days!
I bought this for an overseas trip. I take a weekly shot that needs to be refrigerated. Took it out of the fridge right before we left for the airport, put it in this cooler with the ice pack and the usb lid. I plugged it in to a charger for the airport ride, unplugged it for tsa security, then plugged it back in. The plane had a plug, so I utilized that on the plane for 6 hours. Once landed, I plugged it back into the charger. At the hotel I used a usb plug to keep it running. I left on a Friday night and on Monday morning, it was still cool. Not cold and the ice pack was defrosted, but it was definitely cool inside the container and the medicine was still cool as well. We went to Ireland in the fall, so we did not have super high temperatures to combat. Taking it through US security, they wanted it opened to verify it wasn't a water bottle. Bringing it back, they just put it in a machine to test for whatever (explosives?). it traveled well, super easy to use, withstood our travel. I highly recommend this product.

Works as described, but bulky.
We traveled to Europe for a month and I used this to keep my insulin cool. I was able to recharge on our bus and:or hotel room. It is pretty bulky considering the size of most insulin bottles. It held multiple bottles of insulin. The only problem I ran into was not being able to refreeze the liquid insert. I was questioned by TSA coming home, but they let me through.

Great item!!
I recently went on a vacation where we drove through California. We didnโt know how long we would be out of the car for at the time and wanted to make sure my insulin stayed at the right temperature while we traveled. Everything went great through TSA, except for the fact that the agent had to mess with me. With the straightest face in the world told me that I could not take it with me. I almost had a heart attack. He started laughing and I couldnโt even believe he could hold it together as long as he did, but thank God it is TSA approved. I used a portable battery as well as the usb in the car and both worked perfectly. I did test it with a different portable battery and it kept turning the fan off, that was more the portable batteryโs issue. My other 2 worked great, I would just recommend doing test runs with your means of charging prior to your trip just to make sure youโre good. This comes in handy too living in south FL if we lose power from a hurricane for extended periods of time. Yes it may be slightly more expensive than other items, but I did my research and this definitely seemed like the most reliable option. Especially if you want both the options of cooling fan or no additional fan like I did. I used a 32oz drink holder that had a pocket so I could charge while hiking without taking out of the holder.

It definitely keeps your meds cold.
I used this while traveling from Chico, CA to OBX, North Carolina. I left at 330 am (about a 2 hour drive) for my flight in Sacramento and made to my final destination around 130 am the next morning. The ice pack was still frozen. I did use the charging cable when delayed for next flight. Iโm currently on a road trip back to California and being able to keep it charged up is keeping all my meds nice and cold. One less thing to worry and stress over. The only thing I do wish it had some a temperature gauge to see the degrees.

A must have for travelers wanting medication stored at the correct temperature range.
Worked as stated. I used the Insulin Cooler for a three week trip to Europe. Some hotels did not have a mini refrigerator to store my medication and the 4ALLFamily Insulin Cooler worked like a charm. The storage space was perfect for three weeks of medication. The design and size-perfect for backpack. The option of the ice pack and powered top provided the flexibility needed to ensure the medication remained within temperature range for proper storage.

The very expensive USB cap seems like a gimmick
I use Humira Pens and do a lot of travel that requires me to keep them below 46 degrees F. This holds 3 of these rather large injectable pens. If you have smaller pens for other medicines, you should check their accurate chart. The basic product, which you can buy inexpensively without the USB fan cap, works well for about 24 hours of travel, assuming this is sitting in your carryon bag and not exposed to high temperatures. The USB powered (no battery backup) fan did not seem to add any additional life to the low temperature environment needed for my drug, and the cap alone without the freeze pack is useless. The big problem is because there is no battery in the cap, you need to have a constant USB power source. Perhaps on car trips you could manage this, but when traveling it becomes an impossible task. Even if you hook the cap up to an external battery, you can't keep it in a bag surrounded by other items, because it needs a way exhaust the hot air to cool the internal plate. Just skip this and go for their basic bottle with the gel freeze pack.

worked well
Flight got cancelled and had already set up the thermos to use the refrigerator cap which was plugged into a power bank. After 24 hrs, the medication was still at the perfect temperature. It drained about the full charge of the power bank but had another power bank ready just in case.

Works well
I have been travelling in Italy for 3 months during 30 deg C plus hot weather & used the 72 hour insulin cooler to store 3 months of prescription glaucoma eye drops below 8 deg C. All good.
