I recently received an echo show as a gift. This was my first experience with smart products, so I wanted to give its features a try. The first thing I turned to was a few plugs so that I could automatically turn things off when I leave the room or the house. Initially I tried a different brand that has great reviews, but as soon as I got them, I realized how awful they were - they were huge, didn’t have Bluetooth, and were a pain to connect. Govee to the rescue! These are like a luxury item in comparison to those. The Govee plugs are so easy to set up, the app just works, and has more features than I know what to do with. You can choose how you want to pair them (BT or Wifi), and the process is more or less automatic from there. You can set timers. Oh, and a feature I didn’t think I cared about quickly became my favorite one when I remembered how often I need to manually reset my router. With the other plugs, I would still have to get up and go unplug and re-plug everything in. With the Govee, even if WiFi is down it can connect via Bluetooth, so resetting it is just as straightforward as it would be if the WiFi wasn’t out. I’ve never had an issue with BT range - my phone and echo are probably ~40 feet from the router, through some doors and through a brick wall. It’s a small, but welcome convenience that I never want to live without again. I’ve had these for about 3 months now, and so far I haven’t had a single issue. My only “complaint” is that I wish they tracked power usage. I have a power strip from another brand that does this, and while it’s not needed, it is nice to know. If I can see where the bulk of my power usage is coming from, then I can be more mindful about what appliances are running and when. All in all, I recommend giving these a shot. I had an issue with another Govee product (I say issue, but really it was a that they didn’t fit where I intended to use them), and their customer service was incredibly proactive in reaching out to me and rectifying the problem even though it was well past my return window. I feel good about my purchase and love knowing that if anything were to come up, the Govee team will be there to help.

These were really easy to set up. They replaced my Wemo dual switches now that they suddenly stopped working. Turns out that Belkin decided not to support its Wemo devices and essentially bricked them at the end of January. Nice NOT to inform their users! Never going to buy a Belkinnproduct again. But back to these little dual switches. They are working perfectly after an easy app (Govee Home) based setup. And they are very competitively priced. With two plugs per switch you are essentially getting eight Alexa controlled outlets. They have a small light and recessed button at each end for setup and WiFi confirmation. Easy peasy! Highly recommend these dual smart plugs, and they are rated for a full 15 amps!

These smart plugs couldn't be easier to setup and use. Plug-in, connect in the Govee app, begin using! I love that each socket can be controlled separately. I use these to power lamps with Google Home. The integration between Govee and Google Home is seamless. Once your devices are connected you really don't need to use the Govee app anymore. These work with voice to control each individual socket (Google Home speaker required). They can also be automated using the Govee app or Google Home app. They will also automatically reconnect if the power goes out. No need to re-pair them. Overall excellent smart plug with zero flaws.

I've tried nearly a dozen different affordable smart outlet options. Govee smart plugs are very quickly becoming my favorite. I do tend to prefer their single smart plugs though. While I do love the single smart plugs, I also really love these dual smart plugs since I live in an older house and some rooms don't have many outlets. The dual smart plug acts as a splitter and lets me independently control whatever I plug in. It's incredibly handy and doubles my outlet space in rooms where I'm lucky to have a single outlet normally. Before I got the Govee single smart plugs I was using these on small extension cords in my tropical plant cabinets. They're really nice because they don't overlap other outlets even on small power strips. They are wide though, so it would depend on the orientation of the plugs in your power strip. The Govee outlets are some of the easiest smart plugs I've ever set up. I've not come across issues where they don't pair or aren't detectable like I have with other brands. They also seem to reconnect themselves pretty well when my power goes out or if I unplug them. I haven't had to re-pair them or reset them. They work really well with my Amazon Alexa devices AND with the Apple Home features. I previously used these specific outlets to automatically control fans and grow lights in my tropical plant cabinets. These plants are really sensitive to changes so having consistent light, heat, humidity, and general conditions are really important. I use a modified Ikea cabinet and I use these Govee outlets with my Amazon Alexa routines to control nearly everything. This also gives me the ability to turn them on or off as needed by just asking Alexa. I'm not sure if these outlets are meant for humid environments though. I worked around that by placing a piece of tape over the side buttons and over any unused portion of the outlet. Specifically the ground hole of the plug used for my fans. I haven't had any issues with humidity while doing this. I will also add that because I hide the cables and plugs in my cabinet I'm never using them manually. The tape may mess with the buttons if you're using them manually on a regular basis. I also really like Govee in general because they provide affordable options for smart devices. I've had really positive experiences with their Wifi Smart Bulbs, Single Smart Plug, LED light strips, and Flow Plus LED Light Bars. Because of this I'm also considering replacing my current humidifiers and thermometer/hygrometers with the Govee options! The Govee app in general has been incredibly reliable and easy to navigate. It's super simple to connect to other apps and I'm generally a huge fan.

Great product. Great deal, you actually get eight plaugs that can be programed and turned on and off individually. Works with google home nicely. They are large and will take up an entire outlet depending on the direction of the plug it is going in, but this is minor and if you want a single for single then purchase another product.
