Q: Are the new 58x sensors black? The one I received is black but has 12703627 which is a grey sensor number.

I thought the same thing. Grey 58x black 24x. The bag had the right part number, but it was black with a different part number. I call gm. The new version is black and it’s for 58x. The new part number supersedes 12703627.

Q: A friend said his 08 gmc sierra was tripping on him with this part so he had to actually get an OG gm sensor i have a 2010 will it give me an issue?

Shouldn’t not give any issue no, I maybe the part was faulty

Yes, it does Verify the color of the original sensor that you have Earlier models (Gen III 24x crank wheel) used a black sensor Later model (Gen IV 58x crank wheel) use the grey sensor

No difference except the Number to identify it. GM uses and 8-Digit number, AcDelco uses 7-digit.
