I’ve been using this folic acid supplement (1000 mcg) for a while now, and overall I’m satisfied with it. The tablets are easy to take, and I like that the bottle comes with a large quantity, which makes it good value for the price. I chose this mainly to support general health, and it’s reassuring to use a simple, straightforward supplement without unnecessary additives. I haven’t experienced any side effects, which is important to me. One thing to keep in mind is that 1000 mcg is a relatively high dose, so it may not be necessary for everyone unless recommended. Used this brand for a few years, I do notice healthier hair and nails. Not overly priced and I can recommend.

The only higher dose folic acid I could find that was from a company who seemed legit.

I first bought these for our daughter a while back and have just ordered more because they’ve been working well for her. She’s vegetarian and quite particular about what she eats, so getting enough of certain vitamins can be a bit hit and miss. Her blood test earlier in the year showed she was low in folic acid, so she started taking these. She takes one every two days. After using them for a few months, her follow‑up test came back with normal levels again, so they seem to have done what she needed. Nothing else in her routine really changed, so we were happy with that. The tablets themselves are small, about 9mm in diameter, and easy for her to swallow. No chalky taste, no crumbling, and none arrived broken in the bottle. She says they don’t get stuck and she hasn’t had any upset stomach or anything like that. The bottle we just got has a long expiry date (Feb 2028), so plenty of time to use them. Considering how long a bottle lasts and the results she’s had, they’ve been good value for money. Overall, they’ve worked well for her and we’ll keep buying them. Just be wary of how often you are taking these, considering their strength.
