As someone who is well into his senior years, I have been a voracious reader for more than 7 decades. I curious mind is always searching for interesting and entertaining topics to read about, and this is why while browsing on Amazon when I came across this 148-page soft cover book (The big book of American facts: 1000 interesting facts and trivia about USA by Bill O'Neill) I decided to purchase it. Right off the bat, from the very first page I loved this book. This book is like taking a college level course in American history. Some of the many topics covered in this volume includes Government and crime, presidents, history, religion, language, food and drink, science and medicine, planes, trains and automobiles, military, education, states, money, music” and much, much more. Reading this book was a clear joy and if you love fact type books you may want to check out this one. A fantastic reference source on America. Rating: 5 Stars. Joseph J. I love this little book. I gifted it to my bf as part of his valentine's day gift and for 30 mins he couldn't get his eyes of it. its just so interesting and fun and easy to read. I try not to use my phone in the morning until I've had breakfast and I find myself stealing it from his library. It's such a fun little thing. It's also the perfect gift for someone who is traveling, It's perfect to pass time! love it, it's great to learn such cool facts and will be repurchasing for sure.

Books like this are fun to read. Many Facts are amazing and funny. If you Could remember them…some people May think you are smart…🤗.

Bought this book twice for the lobby of my business and people like it so much they keep stealing it.

“Facts” aren’t all correct. Example: page 48, The Atomic Bomb museum in New Mexico is only open for 12 hours per year. Fact: it’s open from 8-5 daily excluding holidays. Interesting to read, can’t be certain of factual information.

Greasy book. Great information.

Disappointed in the types of facts presented, they are even more random than I had initially believed. But I mean, I could have just been my expectations that were off, as we can have different definitions of what a random fact is.
