I'll comment on how delicious this horseradish is in a sec, but first- I don't believe I have ever been more impressed by the care in shipping as I was with this amazing horseradish. They wrapped each jar in a sealed, high quality bubble bag, surrounded by bubble wrap, packed in with several high quality freezer packs (arriving very cold) and the whole order was set in a thick foam liner, as if it were camera equipment. They are clearly a company that shows pride of product. Then. The horseradish itself? The best I have ever tasted. Clean ingredients, fresh taste, and it delivers everything you could want in a horseradish - don't use too much until you learn its qualities. It will stop the conversation, clear your sinuses and bring tears to your eyes if you don't approach it the first time with a judicious assessment of your own capacity for good ol' horseradish heat!

This is the hottest, tastiest, freshest Horseradish --- no kidding!It arrived in a box about 3 times the size of what was expected...in fact, by the weight and size of it -- was pretty certain the company made a mistake and sent me a Holiday Ham instead. But, after getting the box open, there were 2 or 3 layers of protective soft packaging to remove...then packs of recyclable ice packs...and then finally all nestled together (and additionally clothed in even more protective wrapping) were 3 jars of the wonderful horseradish. The jars were perfect and very cold -- like they just came from the Deli !Had to taste it before putting it up in the refrigerator -- noticed that the expiration date is a full year forward - that was just right! Removed the seal from one of the jars...opened it, and took a quick sniff and almost fell over --- POWERFUL STUFF! So then bravely put a bit on the end of a spoon to taste and oh,MY, MY, MY! Not too sweet, not too sour, but balanced flavors with a very strong horseradish clear-my-sinuses-now-type taste that will blow your head -- clean off!If you like your horseradish so fresh and pungent that it leaves you screaming, then you will not be disappointed...not at all! :-D

I have ordered from Deli Direct for years and always feel like I'm getting a terrific product at a reasonable price. Great customer service, orders well packaged and delivered on time. I highly recommend this seller and this horseradish!!!

I previously bought the deli, direct, super hot horseradish, which was phenomenal. This was no longer available and this particular product was this supposed substitute on the company website. Well, I don’t know if any of this made the flavor bad but the package showed up warm and we instantly put the jars in the fridge upside down. The package said it was shipped on the 17th and it showed up on the 21st. We are having our first steak night with the product and I can put a spoonful in my mouth with no real noticeable heat. I’m so sad that I bought the six pack, because I was expecting it to be so good I wanted to give it to friends as gifts.

I was tired of low grade horseradish. The typical bland and low heat wasn't what I wanted. I was looking for a horseradish that I could season a slab or prime rib or other meat with without using a trowel. THIS IS THAT SAUCE! Excellent flavor extremely fresh well packaged I can't say enough positive things about it. THIS ISNT KID FRIENDLY. It's very hot and very strong!It's an excellent product and I will likely order in again in the future.

Excellent ! Not the "mostly-flavorful but uninspiring sauce" everyone else sells (Beaver Extra Hot was my previous go-to brand... not anymore). Warning: Open the box immediately when it arrives and move the contents to your fridge, the ice packs keeping these fresh ingredients stable in the "shipping-cooler" will not last forever.

Horseradish has a fresh and delicious taste. I was really impressed with the packing in dry ice . Jars where wrapped individually in insulation material. No Styrofoam containers. That I have to try and dispose of .
