Her path illuminates how Life always shows us what to place our attention on, if we are deeply listening and seeing. And Katherine Hand has clearly been paying attention.When we are thrust into a challenging situation, we can’t help but sit up and take notice. Not only did Katherine do this, but she tuned into the subtle and inner intuition and guidance that we all have access to.I recommend this book for anyone willing to meet life head on and discover our limitless possibilities.

Katherine Hand wrote this beautiful story based on her depth life experience dealing with pain and going through a meaningful healing journey. The book has a very good flow, from the beginning to the end and it makes a lot of senses, especially when important and valid recent sciences about body, brain and trauma are included in the book. It also touched my heart, soul, mind and spirit. I enjoyed reading the book that I read it again and again. Her stories validate my own life experiences and me as a human being. As a reader, it also enhances my sense of self-confident and an amazing strength that is embedded with my inner self. It is beautifully amazing!! I will strongly recommend people (includes my mental health therapy clients) to read this book!!Thank you for sharing and writing this amazing book!!

Great combo of memoir and guide! It can be hard to combine the two, but Katherine Hand has pulled it off. I love both the vulnerability and the courage to share such a personal (and interesting!) story, and the reflection questions are awesome! This book is a page turner, but I suggest taking at least a little time between each chapter to digest and reflect.

I wasn't able to put Katherine's book down when I began reading it! This book was captivating as Katherine tells of her healing journey. I have fallen in love with Katherine! She has an amazing gift of writing. I have recommended this book to many others who are having difficulty with their medical situation. The Healer Within is an excellent reminder that we all have the capacity to help ourselves. An excellent read!
