Hi I wear a tight 16 now due to lockdown, what size would you recommend for me so their baggy and comfortable?

It depends on how baggy you want them. I like mine as baggy as in the product pic. I used to wear a size 18 - 20 (UK) so ordered 5XL. I've gone down to a (UK) 16 and still wear them, as they have an elasticated waist. Also, expect a little shrinkage after washing as it's cotton, wash on a cool wash! I hope that helps

What size would you recommend for a UK size 12?

Hi I purchased mine about, about a 1 year ago, please except my apologies if the trousers have changed,  but they last I purchased two pairs size 14, but they do have an elastic waist band I’m 5ft 7 inches and they still come to my ankle, I hope that’s helped and they fit your size,  but where ever they are made, I always think they are not hitting the size, but these do, they have pockets, and alot of people asked me where I got mine, so good luck and I hope this helps. I would not go by standard dress sizes with these trousers I would go by your waist size ,and use the size chart  for these trousers .
Although they are lovely quality trousers the waist is small and has no give even though they have an elastic waist.

Hello, I’m 5ft 8inches , and i got a size 16, I’m only saying that to help you make a decision, two points they can be a little shorter with sandals,
It wouldn’t strange or odd, second, they are wonderful to wear free and easy,  I eventually got three pairs, they are strong material and durable
