Bought 2 for new years eve, decided to just cook one and split with my wife. I’m glad I did. This steak is so richly marbled, I don’t think I could finish one alone. Cooked it on my griddle on high heat, 2 minutes each side. Although I was impressed by it, I was expecting to be blown away, and for that reason it fell short for me. Certainly not the best I’ve ever had, but close. Does it warrant its $150 lb price tag? I don’t think so, but I’m glad I tried it. I think the second one will go in a screaming hot cast iron skillet. Was over the top impressed so I thought I'd bite the bullet and buy the official. Shipped with cold packs (rather than dry ice ) You would think spending this much that the packaging would be much better ) While it looked beautiful.....the price did NOT justify the cost.
