This is an excellent two prong to three prong power strip, with a totally flat and wide top surface: why are wide and flat good? Because I know from previous experience that angled and or narrow top surfaces make it much easier for a big plug to be bumped out of place, when the strip is on the floor. I’ve had endless problems with that, so I’m very pleased that this strip has snug-fitting plug openings. and a wide flat top. This is a comparatively heavy, large and stable strip, which is why I gave it fewer stars for the “For traveling” rate feature category. The cord is heavily coated and thick, which is good. There’s a red light that goes on when the rocker switch is turned on, and it’s bright enough to be seen, but not so bright as to be obnoxious in the dark. The plug that goes into the wall outlet is sturdy and seems well-made. I haven’t used the connections for phone or tablet cords yet.I’m not an electrician, but I looked long and hard for a tested power strip, made by a reputable company, with a good Jules rating and sturdy construction details. So far this Lencent strip is the best I’ve found on Amazon. If something happens that’s negative, I’ll update my review. I hope my experience helps, because not all power strips are equal!

Great product for powering all of your goodies, AND, plenty of USB plug ins regardless of where you may intend to use this power strip...with surge protection! I love it because it cleanly integrated itself into powering all of my home theater accessories, and the 4 USB outputs proved to be invaluable for other devices. What else is great is the space designed into separating how things are plugged into this power strip, giving plenty of room for all things to fit as they should. How many times have any of us plugged something into one slot on a power strip and then go on to find out that something else can't quite fit into the slot right next door? Not on this unit! I was pleasantly surprised to find that all things needing powered could easily plug unto this strip with room to spare, including devices that utilize a transformer for its power input. And last but not least, VERY GOOD quality construction. For the price, a great buy!!

I've been using this extension cord for a few months now and never had any issues so far. It has surge protection which definitely helps protect the devices I plugged into it. The USB plugs are a huge plus! Alleviates the problem of finding adapters and also reduces clutter

We all have more electronics, we need more things to plug them into. This is perfect. Get it!!!

I live in an older apartment, so the two prong surge protector it's a great value and not too bulky. It has plenty of plugs and great USB charging ports.
