If you are a hot glue gun user and always burn your fingers - try these! They are easy to use and a huge help while crafting!!!

I so needed these before I burnt the hide off my fingers. The hot glue ran on a project I was working on and without thought, I swiped and burnt the tarnation out of several fingers. These are a must have for hi heat glue guns. You can smooth, wipe, and press without pain and the glue residue easily cleans off. They are snug and can become uncomfortable if left on for long periods. But for me, I like that they don't slip off easily. For comparisons I can fit on my thumb, index and middle finger, which measure approx. 1/2" to 5/8" wide, when laying flat, Palm down.

They fit like a glove! I use a hot glue just as a reinforcement on some areas of my hair bows as a precaution to hopefully prevent children from easily tearing them apart. So I'm always grabbing the glue gun at different times throughout the making and assembling of my bows.Pros:These caps fit very snug and are actually very soft and comfortable. So comfortable I can leave them on while I fold, shape and sew my bows without having any issues. It certainly beats taking them off and on every couple of minutes or having them fall off when they come into contact with the hot glue. I tried the Dritz Thermal Thimbles (the blue one) Dritz Thermal Thimbles  first and they were so big they fell right off my fingers! They were also twice the price.I can also wear them when I have acrylic nails on and they still fit just as comfortably.They are thick enough that I have every confidence my finger is protected and they are so easy to clean the glue practically falls off once it dries.Cons:I have what I consider to be small to average size hands and they fit perfect. The smallest of the 3 in the pack is too small for my fingers but does fit my 11-year-old daughter.They aren't very stretchy so you won't be able to force your finger in if it's too small, although it certainly is sturdy enough to try.

WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN ALL MY LIFE.I go through craft stages and I did a bow period circa 2010-2013 and always had burns from my glue gun. Recently I purchased a new glue gun to make some felt taco banners and came across these. I haven't seen them before, apparently I was living under a rock but they make hot gluing so easy. AND if you get glue stuck on them, you wait a second and it's dry and you peel it right off. Definitely worth the investment to save your fingers.

I am in love with these silicone thimbles! Where have they been all my life.I do a lot of hot gluing and no matter how careful I am, always get at least 2 burns per session.Not any longer! Since discovering these thimbles I no longer burn myself while crafting. I had bought a different brand that was blue and thinner and I still got burned so to find these is just amazing.Love them so much I bought another set for myself and 2 sets for my sister-in-law who does scrapbooking.Others have said that they fit too tight and they were for my thumb and middle finger. Solved that by cutting a slight amount off the open end and they fit better now.Am very happy with this purchase.

These are a bit too small and tight and I have tiny hands. Can't hardly use them.

I use these as sewing thimbles for light sewing. They could be pierced if sewing through thick fabrics but that isn’t the kind of hand sewing I do. They are comfortable to wear for long periods.

Yes, these do work! They protect my fingers from the heat of low-temp glue guns and still give me enough flexibility and tactile feeling to be able to manipulate my project. They are exactly what I've been looking for.The package includes two large and one medium tip. I have smaller fingers, and I find they fit quite well. If you have large hands, the tips may be a little snug but they do stretch.

Questi "tappi" non mi sono piaciuti per nulla, a mio avviso il prezzo non è tanto buono in rapporto alla qualità..magari proteggerà dal calore ma sono scomodi e risultano anche stretti. Non lo consiglierei per nulla.
