Wait and See: Finding Peace in God's Pauses and Plans Review: Wait and See - This book proved to be a perfect read during a time in my life that has been filled with waiting. I highlighted over and over as I read through this one. I know I’ll be reading it again as a refresher for my faith in times of waiting. 5 stars Review: Such a nourishing and wonderful read! - Will this opportunity come available? Wait and see. We all have hopes, dreams, and expectations, but more often than not, we're stuck in a season of waiting. And waiting is hard. So. Hard. Reading Wait and See [affiliate link] was like finally having that drink of water when you've been stuck in the wilderness for so long. It's nourishing and gives you that little oomph to keep going. A Must Read for Anyone Who Has Ever Experienced Waiting!
In this world of instant messaging, instant food, and instant access to news around the world, most of us find it difficult to wait for anything. As a Christian, I find waiting on God’s timing especially frustrating. In her book, Wait and See, Wendy Pope gives us a new way to look at waiting. It is not wasted time, but a time of preparation and renewal. Wendy uses the stories of four real people to illustrate the beauty and benefits from waiting on God. Through the Bible study at the end of each chapter, we also learn how David waited. Wendy’s conversational writing style and her poignant vulnerability give this book an intensely personal touch and easy readability. At the end of the book is a journal for each chapter—a great way to help the reader process the information and relate lessons learned to his/her life. I highly recommend this book to anyone who has experienced a period of waiting—for healing, for a job, for children, for direction in life. It has completely changed my thoughts on why we wait and how to wait well.

Worth the Wait
Wendy Pope as a member of the Proverbs 31 Online Bible Study team has delivered many heartfelt devotionals as well as teachings, but her time waiting to see has really paid off for the reader. She puts it out there, and yes this is a Christian Book. We all have had to wait and watch our friends, loved ones, and the other ones get what we felt was Our Blessings. She responds to that from her own experiences of waiting without hitting you over the head with biblical "Christianese." The workbook included within the book is just wonderful for making you think. It's right there, so you don't have to fight with several books, pens, highlighters.., If you want to do the Bible study with others just google, and visit Proverbs 31 Online Bible Studies

Such a great book!
This book is such an easy read and has been so helpful to me during this season of waiting. I absolutely love the layout! I’m each chapter, there are a few pages of regular reading, then scripture references with short answer questions, and then lastly prompts to guide you in writing your own chapter! Definitely recommend!

See God in your midst, AWEmazing book with Bible study include!
Wendy Pope walks you through the life of King David as he waited to become king. From the time he was anointed until he became king of all of Israel. This book not only teaches you deep Biblical truth, but it also allows you to walk with real life people in their wait, and see how they applied each principle taught. I love that the last chapter is written by the reader, in that you get to journal about a wait you are experiencing, and encouraged to write about how the principle applies to your pause. Wendy Pope also included a Bible study at the end of each chapter on a Psalm that David wrote during his wait, and that specifically applies to the principle within the chapter you just read. I highly recommend the book, and it will be a book you will read again and again. Make sure you have a hi-lighter and pen with you because you are going to want to be taking notes and hi-lighting every page.

A must read for the woman who is in a season of waiting!
Are you in a season of waiting? Waiting on God to answer a prayer? Waiting on a dream to come true? What if we could learn how to wait well? Then I highly recommend Wendy Pope’s book, Wait and See: Finding Peace in God’s Pauses and Plans. Wendy shares about her own season of waiting as well as the life of David, an excellent example of waiting well during his 15 years from the pasture to the palace. Wendy says, “God’s Timing is always perfect, and God is Never Late.” If you are beginning to doubt if you heard God correctly in your season of waiting, then you will want to read this book. I highly recommend it!

Great book that speaks to issues that so many people are experiencing. I love how she ties her issues with people from bible. She walks us through her live and David's life and they both manage their waiting in different fashion. If you are waiting for anything a job, healing from disease or that perfect relationship....I would recommend reading this book. Even if you are not waiting for something it is still a good read. This book push me to reflect on my life. We used this book for our women's ministry reading club and it has been a blessing for each of us in different way. Thanks Wendy great job.🙏🏾

I just loved this book so much, and it was so timely for me in my own circumstances. Nobody likes "waiting", we all want solutions right now. But sometimes waiting turns out to be the most spiritually productive season in our journey. I highly recommend this book to anyone going through a season of God's pause.
