Assembly on this machine was super quick and easy. The parts come nicely packed and labeled well inside the box. The bolts are all nicely labeled and packed inside a little fishing box type reusable box. I decided to time the assembly on this and even with making 2 - 3 mistakes and fat fingering things I finished the assembly in 25 mins and that is from unboxing to ready to turn on.As far as the machine goes its well built and seems rigid a durable. This machine has a 32bit control board which allows much faster movement among other things which is a reason why I purchased it. Also another addition is there is a manual Z axis movement knob on it. The Z axis adjustment is a great addition to help allow the laser to much easier focus to the suggested 30mm height. Although the Z axis does a better job adjusting lower to work areas than up meaning large work pieces are a little cumbersome to get under the machine at the correct height.I ran a quick test with the logo provided on the USB at 5000mm/min and also 10,000mm/min and both turned out well. The previous machines maxed out at 3000mm/min so this machine is a great improvement in speed !While running these jobs I did notice another improvement I guess, but the machine was whisper quiet. Without any air assist hooked up the machine was so quiet I could barely tell it was running and when it finished the job I didn't even notice it wasn't running. Not saying this would really have any impact either way but nice job.All in all I definitely would recommend this machine, from quick build to quality its definitely going to get alot of use from me.

I love the added features of this laser over the entry-level lasers of some of it's competitors, but the customer service leaves much to be desired. In the 5 months that I've had this laser, the 20w laser module sent with the machine has been replaced due to being faulty, and a 40w replacement module has died which customer service refuses to replace.Update: Customer Support has agreed to replace faulty laser module so I have decided to update my review. I still think there's an issue with power output of the supplied power adapter (12v 5a adapter producing more than 16v) but if needed, hopefully Customer Support comes through again!

I’m an absolute beginner and I purchased this machine to expand my small business. I usually do not like to write reviews until I’ve used the product for some time. At the time of purchase there were only 9 reviews all 5 stars. So it peaked my interest. I only decided to actually purchase it because I found laser wizards extensive unboxing tutorial on you tube. I wanted to know there were people out there who used and understood the machine. So if I had any problems I’d have someone to ask. So the machine has been great since I begun using it. I had nothing but good things to say even inspiring others to switch over to this brand. But recently (3mnts after using this machine) during use, the air pump which I purchased directly from the fox alien site stopped working and shortly after that the laser module showed signs of burn out and was not cutting the wood anymore. I messaged the fox alien company and they sent me a replacement unit swiftly and I also contacted the supplier here on Amazon and I also got the same efficiency. They too sent out a replacement laser module.For this reason I can finally give my review. Absolutely 5 stars for customer service and prior to this strange burn out problem the machine has been doing me well. I’ll say give it a try because the company and its suppliers are considerate about rectifying problems.

I love the way this laser works for removing the anodizing from aluminum tins. What I don't like, which is weird, as this is clamped to the table and can not move, is that every print keeps working farther away from the start point. I wasted 6 lids, to get it centered, and the more I use it, the more it keeps changing. Right to left is spot on. My original zero point for front to back is now more than 1/2" off, and I've only done 10. I'm using this for business labeling, and so far it is unacceptable. If you are looking for repeatable precision, don't expect to get it with this system. All belts are tight, nothing is jumping around, but nothing stays the same either. I do not recommend this for any business enterprise.

Great first time laser engraver\cutter. For a desktop machine the working size is great, larger than most machines at these prices. Do not expect this to cut 3/4 inch wood, but it will handle 1/8 and 1/4 inch. In addition to the 5w output laser head I also have a 10w laser head. Support response is easily within 24 hours due to time differences around the world. Only regret is that the Chinese OEM does not ship to a military post office.

This laser has too many limitations and it’s just aggravating to use. One time my settings work then the next cut the same setting on the same wood will not work. It takes about 45 minutes to make a cut that’s approx 5”x5” and the fumes are SO BAD. There’s no great way to vent this one. It’s just a mess and for the money there’s way better options.

I own two other Foxalien lasers. I got this one this week and right from the “set up” it was obvious I got an upgraded machine. Set up was sooooo easy and this girl slices through wood like a hot knife through butter!! I am totally in love and so excited to see what she can do. The cuts just to test were so fricken clean I can’t even describe it!!! I am hooked! You knocked this one out of the park FoxAlien!!!I have attached some projects that I made with this machine for y’all to see what it’s capable of!!

Really love the reizer well worth it. The detail it produces is amazing and I'm only learning had it a few weeks but have seen what it can do. It makes amazing images but there is a few different websites or programs used to get such nice results. It is a for sure recommendation buy even for beginners I had zero laser experience before this and after a few uses I would buy again.

Works great but not very powerful

This is a great laser for the beginner. I was new to this and this machine allowed.me to.learn the ins and outs and what not to do. Be prepared to use lightburn.The company of great at answering questions ands assisting with your technical needs. Double thumbs up!

As much as I tried to make this device do the things the maker advertises, it has been a consistent disappointment. It's slow, finicky, and does not track correctly or deliver consistent or predictable results.If you can get it for $300, you may have got a deal. Just keep your expectations very low.A more powerful machine will be a much better use of your hard-earned cash.

Mon 3ième laser... excellente qualité même à haute vitesse (3500mm/min). J'adore la force du 20W, très puissant pour graver et couper. Le Reizer est bien meilleur en tout point à mon Sculpfun S9 qui est de très mauvaise qualité. Je suis très content de mon achat.
