One year, for a holiday gift, I received a small bag of Sarawak pepper from a spice company. Nearly ever time I seasoned something for the next couple of years I had a "wow" moment. I just didn't know pepper could taste that good. I was really hoping to recapture that with this splurge purchase. I even got a new grinder to make sure I could control the grind. It's good, but doesn't strike me as that different from other peppercorns, and at least for me, not worth the high cost. Maybe it's me, but just doesn't taste that special.

These little nuggets are the BOMB!!! Starting with their aroma and then the impact of flavor!!! Without a doubt, the best!!!!

Omg if you are buying pepper at your local market you don't know what real pepper is truly like. The flavor is not like the stuff you get out of those old moldy peppergrinders. Whole or in grind form the flavor is amazing, I made the Philipino dish chicken adobo and let me tell you the flavor I got from the peppercorns in the sauce was amazing. Try it, you will not be disappointed and you won't buy that stale store stuff again.
