Cost effective fix to Venue 11 not charging
This PCB board was just the ticket for re-enabling our Dell Venue 11, that was no longer charging. The engineers must have known that the PBC board might need replacing. A smart move. If the unit was built into the MB, it would have been a waste. Tips: you must take care when you take off the Venue's cover, and make sure the SD card is out of the unit before removal. Just YouTube for the how-to guide. One other piece of advice... be careful with the ribbon cable connectors. Some flip up and some just pull back slightly to loosen the area where the cable is fastened. If a connector is broken the unit won't function. This was not a difficult replacement. Take your time and research on how to do it correctly and you will have success.
