Arrived intact. Wonderful texture and flavor. They were baked on the traditional rice wafer paper. It’s edible, but it peels off not too difficultly if it weirds you out. We really enjoyed tasting the three varieties. Will definitely buy these again!

if there was a zero star rating i would have given it. i dont know what they did with the original lebkuchen recipie, but this is not it. just horrendous, not eatable the cookies where way to sweet, tasted like they where pure sugar, the oblade (the white sheet on buttom) was ? i dont know what, never seen one that looked and tasted like that. the cookies just fell apart, to dry, looked like either eggs or fat was missing, just crumbled, furthermore, either no lebkuchengewürz was used, or so little that it was not tastable OVERALL a horrible product, do not buy if you like lebkuchen, go on the internet, look for schmidt lebkuchen nütnberg. they mail to the united states and everyone of their product has the correct mix and taste for the named lebkuchen (here are different types, for exemple, elisen lebkuchen, honig lebkuchen, schokoladen lebkuchen, etc. spend the extra money and have a quality product

I love Lebkuchen. It's one of my favorites and this is my favorite brand but the other brands are good too! Very similar....I try every year to find just the plain but only can get them in a variety pack. Of course the chocolate covered and glazed are great but I really wish I could find the plain in it's own package, it's my personal favorite of the variety. I don't know why they don't sell the plain Lebkuchen too. If Amazon or a seller sees this- please, if they sell plain lebkuchen make it available to buy as well 🙏 😊

Received the item , the expiry date are pretty close. So, that makes the taste much different.

very tasty. need more flavors that exist. a bit more packing to keep the lebkuchen whole. i am from Nurnberg. ( wish the alphabet had umlauds ).

BUT only buy during Christmas season (October-January. I bought one summer and they were stale. I'm guessing it's a seasonal item.

Deficient quality, Dry, falling apart and looked like hell. I would not give them as a Gift. They were shipped in a plastic bag instead of a box so there was damage. If it would have been a more significant Item I would have sent them back and gotten my money back. I will never buy them again. Thank you.
