STING

DNF at 10%.I've read Friction by Sandra Brown earlier and loved it, so I was really looking forward to reading this one. I was well aware that Brown's novels had steamy scenes in them, but in Friction, the scenes went well with the story. But this book was way too much and the sexual tension shown between the 2 main leads in the first 10% of the book made me feel so awkward that I simply couldn't go further.The writing felt off too and it was more tell than show. On top of all this, the snide remarks of the protagonist were way too much for me.This book felt more like an overly sexed up New Adult rather than a Thriller. Or at least that's how I felt.If you don't mind reading this kind of content then you might actually like this book. I don't usually have trouble reading normal sexy stuff (seriously, who does?!), but it's just that I was hoping to read a really good Thriller and really high expectations from this one.

My first book by this author and I loved it. Fast paced suspenseful page turner from beginning to end. Enjoyed reading it.

I have long been a fan of Sandra Brown's books having bought many of her novels. I had waited with expectation for her most recent book Sting but was highly disappointed! Everything about it was weak, the prose very clunky and the plot predictable. In the 21st century what man speaks to a woman he desires in the way that Shaw does unless I guess it's in a porn movie.Needless to say I was very disappointed and hope this is not reflective of further books to come. If so, I'm out!

Wow I was not expecting that it keeps you guessing. Sandra did it again; read it one sitting. What a scorcher very intriguing thank you Sandra I will not look at bandanas without thicking of Shaw &Jordie

Sandra Brown never lets her readers down. Great characters, plot and love story. I would highly recommend you read it.

Great story kept me guessing until the end, surprised by the twist. I liked the characters, very believable and fun too
