Armarkat Classic Cat Tree Beige/14 D x 50" W x 74" H

My cats love this! I have two small female cats and one 10-lb, tall, long, male cat. Especially because of my larger cat, the size and sturdiness of any cat tree really mattered to me. I researched until I found this Armakat A7401 cat tree, which was specifically recommended by a Maine coon cat organization. I knew if it'd work for Maine coon cats, it'd work for my cats. It is made with plywood and metal bolts instead of layered cardboard and plastic bolts, and the perches and condo houses are a good size. Because of the ladders it's also good for small cats, elderly cats, and kittens. One of my girls is 17 years old and the bottom ladder helps her to get up into the first condo. Even though physically that's as far as she can go, she's happy to be up off the ground and joining in on the fun with the other cats. Also the cats love the dangle toys! It came with three and I hung up two and cut the string off the third and gave that to my elderly cat. They are all a big hit! I can't say enough good things about this cat tree!

I just received it and my cats already love it. The structure is steady and strong enough for two big cats that love to sleep on the very top of the "castle". The scratching parts are perfects. The boxes are big enough.I had a problem with a screw, but it wasn't part of the basic structure, so I'm not worried.

My cats are absolutely obsessed with this cat tree! It’s not only a great scratching post and place to relax, but it works perfectly for their food and water bowls. I love how tall it is and so do they! Easy for them to get up high away from my dog when he’s getting on their nerves.

Yet another great tree from Amarkat. I have three picky boys and they instantly love these every time. Amazing quality, perfect design for the three of them, and sturdy! The only brand that can comfortably fit and support them (18lbers!) Thank you so much!! Customer for life. :)

This is a great tree. Have tried others and for some reason this is the one they like. Tree supports 6 cats and they all love it!

This cat tree has platforms and houses that WILL NOT accommodate a large cat like a Bengal. The houses are too small for easy access and the platforms are not only too small, but the lips/edges prevent any cat of 12+ lbs to lounge comfortably. Sadly, you cannot return it without a 20% restocking fee + shipping. Considering this item is 50+ lbs, that is a considerable charge that is covered by the company's holy-than-thou policy.BEWARE. If your cat is large this cat ree will not and the company will gouge you with 20% fee + shipping for a 50+ lb item.There are simply too many other cat trees to buy from to put up with this shoddy customer service.

(Note: in the interests of honesty, I just received this and have not assembled it.)I got the Armakat 7401. Pieces are HEAVY, the fake beige fur is well glued. No smells. Well packaged.The only downside I can see is that the perches will be too small for my oversized cat. The plus side is that Armakat does have a website where I can buy a much larger perch, but at $200 you’d think Armacat would include at least one 18x13 *square* perch (no cut out as with the included perches, WHY DID YOU DO THAT, ARMACAT?) with this very pricey tree!!! Note: the 18x13 perches sell for $45, plus shipping. :(I’m including a photo of my cat sitting atop one of the 13x13 perches (not assembled yet).I will update once it’s assembled and larger perch is attached. I do like this cat tree otherwise; it’s super well made!

We’ve had this one before, for years and years...when it was time to get a new one, we went for a cheaper tower...big mistake! We have two large cats (both over 20 lbs) and this unit is STURDY and very well made. It’s made of real wood, not the cheap stuff the $69 towers are made of. Our cats jump up and down on it all day long. Great for BIG CATS!!
